- MOST DANGEROUS Waterfall Build of 2018 (so far)!
Carrying boulders up and down stairs, down steep slopes and driveways by hand is treacherous work! Today we're rebuilding a pond waterfall in Sparta, NJ and it involves some creative staging of boulders as we build right next to a staircase. The homeowner built this pond by himself 20 years ago and now he is ready for Atlantis to give his waterfall some "Rock Stars" love!

Atlantis Water Gardens is located in Denville (Morris County), NJ (New Jersey) and specializes in backyard fish ponds, boulder waterfalls, fountainscapes, decorative water features, natural looking ponds, koi fish ponds and outdoor goldfish ponds for backyard landscapes. - Jak na to + styl
This one had all the elements to make it extra challenging. The crew delivered big time. You can tell Jak and team get real satisfaction from making customers happy.
The moss work was amazing. It would be great if you would pull back in a couple of the shots and show the entirety of the pond/ falls not just the tight shots.
I agree. They did lots of great work, but didn't show it well.
I was thinking the same. It's an amazing work but the video is like showing parts of an elephant and you don't get to see the whole elephant so to speak, and appreciate the beauty of what they've done.
Atlantis Water Gardens: It may have been difficult and dangerous to maneuver around, but this is the best pond. I love all the different levels. The bridge! All the different areas with water, moss, plants and the boulders. This would be so neat to explore. Thanks again for sharing this with us. : )
Hey m from India & am absolutely in love with your pond builds. But would love it if you can take a bird's eye view shots of all your amazing waterfall setups. Thanks for the amazing experiences.
This is AMAZING! I love how natural it looks, like it has been there forever. So great!
Sweeeet!!! The moss looks bad ass. Great job. Love the bloopers.
Another awesome job guys. Like I said before, you have great crew of craftsmen to build these wonderful water features. Moss just draws out the totally natural look. 👍👍👍
Jaak hats off to you and the men that make up your company this pond rebuild is absolutely stunning... great work guys... cheers
Beautiful work 🇵🇸❤️🕊
Respect and love from Palestine 🇵🇸
Thanks 🙏
The moss work is legit. You guys are amazing.
"Sweet"! I am amazed by the work you and your team does! I especially liked the interview with the homeowners. Wish we lived back in NJ!
I often say I wish we had more slopes and elevation to work with. Not anymore. I would definitely break my neck working with something that steep. Nicely done guys!
Loved the idea with the moss with the tranquil waterfall. awesome job Jaak and crew!
Wow...great video. Beautiful job. Love the moss!!!
Jaak and the crew are amazing artist. Making plans for a pond in my backyard soon. Thank you for the inspiration.
My hats off to you guys ,amazing beautiful art but back breaking for sure. Love ❤️ it!

Nice guys!!! Love the VLOG!
wow just listen, they got the perfect amount of waterflow going on there; so tranquil
2 Days! Fabulous result
Yes! Thank you!
Beautiful!
Really pretty work!
Love your works dude
Hi, just found your channel from Paul Cuffaro. Great transformation on this job & if the quality of your filming and post production is as good on your other films we can’t wait to see them! Great work!
Another great job!
Talk about a sketchy work area! But as always you uys got it done with the end product being amazing! Great work guys!!!!
Amazing job
Well done Jaak and Atlantis.!
Spectacular feature!
Great job !
Incredible
So cool
Classic NJ topography and landscape. Loved the time lapse. When adding the moss is it all dry laid or can you use dabs of foam to help it stay in place? Great work!
PondFather Water Features we use foam as an adhesive
I loved the moss
Wicked job site. Nice work on the video though.
That looks more complicated then I would want to do. Great being Florida with no elevation sometimes.
I think it was very much fun as much as hard work .....😀😀
Thank you very much for noticing my comment...... I will be waiting for your next video.....
Seems a little wingy this episode 😂🤣 get over it guys be the goat.
I've been in worse situations doing pond builds maybe you could have joined me on my last pond job you would have loved it.
Haha 😁😅 I had to pull up 3 tonne of rock just to lay the liner down.
By the way the moss work was absolutely magic guys! Thumbs up on the waterfalls 😀👍
I tried to replicate your moss work on my 16 ft pondless and most of it washed into my basin lol. good work
Use moss adhesive what use for aquascaping
Another outstanding job! I learn so very much from your videos. Thank you. Question: do you 'glue' the moss into place with fresh black foam, or do you just 'tuck it in' on top of hardened foam?
We foam it in place 👍
Great work! I have a pond less waterfall but some knucklehead cut the liner too short around the catch basin so it tends to overflow over the top of the liner in a couple spots when it gets a bit overfilled. Is it possible to lay a piece in there in those spots without replacing the whole liner?
david stevens unfortunately I don’t think that will work
Another great job.... how does the Moss hold up over time?
sky williams as long as there is moisture and shade it holds up great
Hey, call the guy that can drive his bob skid on the front wheels, his name is Jake (i'll link a post, hope ya don't mind). You also may enjoy this song while working from Struggle Jennings and Jelly Roll, hope you like...Great Work you guys.

Awesome work and awesome vid. What software do you use for editing?
Graham Jack fcpx
Where do you get the moss, and what brand is it? I'm guessing it stays green during the summer because it rains where you are. Where I am, there is no rain for 6 months, but the moss really sells it!
We pick it out of the woods
Unreal effort and outcome. Better than nature. Jack will moss continue to grow on pond foam?
Jack Leonard we’ve found that if you have moisture and some shade, the moss grows very nicely
Atlantis Water Gardens sorry my auto correct keeps misspelling your name. No disrespect intended.
How much does this cost?
Niceee
Man I wish I could ask you guys a question. But I doubt you would get it in time I'm currently in the process or redoing an entire waterfall but ran into a problem if you do have time please let me know
Whatcha got?
What type of moss was that
Dirk McKee great question that I don’t have an answer for! We picked it out of the woods, it was actually a couple different varieties
What do you use to attach the moss?
Foam
Sucks you didn’t show the entire finished product only closeups.
🤷♂️
how was moss attached?
We use waterfall foam
👍👏👏❤
Will those trees punctured the liner
No
Ok so do you think it’ll be safe to build a pond by a Dwarf weeping cherry tree
Just a tip, there wasn’t a full on shot of what it looked like when it was done.
We’ve fixed that since then 👏👏
While I love the close up shots, a bit of footage of the pond/waterfalls as a whole would be great.
Rel1369 it’s funny, as I was editing this I was asking myself why the heck didn’t I get any overall shots?! I’ll work on it
Thank you.
Steve is pretty hot tbh
O Ard I just wanted to see the work that's all cause I'm going to get me some work soon sorry
Looks like there's 7 dimwits out there. Other than that, awesome job Jaak!
Could tell you wanted to rip the whole thing out and start over. Good job though
Rare video
Get a drone. 4k overheads of the project with 80% on the finished project. Just my 2 cents. 6' x 6' sections of the finished work will never do justice to the whole thing.
You should check out some of our other episodes. Literally every one has drone shots 👌
@@AtlantisWaterGardens New to your channel, came over from DMFD.
You talking to much can we see it dam
My wife says the same thing all the time 🤷♂️
Don't know why, but the "domestic help" doing laundry in the background of the owner interview just had me thinking... spoiled much?
🤷♂️
Why play music over the sound of the waterfall? Talk about ruining the experience with too much post production.
🤷♂️
