Not necessarily… there are a lot of other factors.. power to weight ratio.. sohc or dohc.. turbo lag.. VGT or FGT.. the cars are really different in many factors
Technical Banda ur not technically correct.. fwd rwd doesn’t matter in a straight line.. the cruze came with 205/60/16 tyres.. so it can’t wheelspin a lot.. that can only happen on smaller tyres.. it has no problem putting down the power it has.. rwd/fwd/awd should be considered when it’s a track or lap time competition

Agree, Cruze is a very good car for racing, not only drag race but in circuit as well, the handling, is so good, it's so stable, just need some good tuning for my 1.8LT petrol Cruze. Respect from Indonesia. Do the race in circuit or empty street guys, be safe.

Not at all, it has manual.mode too, which he can use easily...probably it was in eco mode initially....its peak torque comes continues till 4200rpm....very few diesel can can reach 4200rpm leave the question of torque

This is a diesel, but I have the 1.4T FBO on a mild tune and I’m lucky if I can pull a V6 Accord 💀 I’m over 200hp too
Here in the UK a stage one tune on a 530d costs £250 and gives you an extra 100bhp and loads more torque too. In sport mode with the ZF8 speed gearbox, they go like fk.

Cruze is a crazy torque monster. Due to the clutch kickback and turbo lag in the 163hp revised motor (158hp had aggravated turbo lag) there's no way it can compete with 530d N57 right off the launch which in its LCI phase did 0 to 100 in 5.8 secs and superior power delivery thanks to RWD and staggered setup.
The 6 cylinder and brute torque further enhances at 200 plus and 530d rushes to 257 kph locked speed. 530d was wide open throttle here but didn't put the required effort to take down the cruze which to be honest was doing a remarkable speed of 230 kph for a 2.0 tdci.
There another contender for the cruze which usually people forget the good old laura 1.8 tsi capable of similar speeds.

@@sood_69 This BMW is not 530d its 520d, its only 190 hp i guess, 530D baap hai sab ka, it goes 0-100 in 5.7sec, khali 530d ka logo lagane se 530d nahi hoti, 530d front bumper is way different from 520D, its aerodynamic, yeh video wala bumper 520d ka hai with chrome lines, 530D mein chrome line on windows nahi aati, 520d mein aati hai, 530 mein side mud gaurd mein M sports ka logo hota hai, I have one, its top speed is 260 & only sports car above 300hp can pass it.
