    Fantastic video, I was diagnosed with low testosterone level of 130, was referred to an endocrinologists who was very thorough, my psa leaves came back at 10.3, had a prostate biopsy and was informed that I’m a Gleason 6 and under active surveillance but none of my doctors will provide TRT, it’s extremely frustrating do too low energy and focus.

      I had prostate cancer and they all stopped my TRT but I found a clinic and never stayed off and after SBRT radiation, my PSA is dropping by a lot! It has been almost two years and the urologist "may" prescribe again and I am not holding my breath. Both urologist and oncologist know I am on TRT but hold fast to the notion of no testosterone. I am proactive and take care of my quality of life and do what I have to do to get TRT even if it means withholding the whole truth from the clinic. My emotions suffer when my T is so low (25)

    I stopped ADT six months after proton therapy due to side effects. I’m seeing a naturopathic oncologist now. Thanks for this video. It confirms my decision.

    I am 70 years old. I have taken testosterone shots 1ml twice a month for 10 years. In January 2023 for a life insurance medical evaluation I was given a PSA test. The test came back 7.0 I was shocked and stopped the shots. I waited a month and took another PSA test. The test came back 6.0. I stopped the testosterone shots and in May,, 4 months later I tested my testosterone level and took another PSA test. My testosterone level was 217 my PSA test 2.7 Yes I said 2.7. At 70 years old I'm happy with going from 7.0 PSA to 2.7 PSA. All I did was stop testosterone injections. Of course now I can't remember what was so special about the lady's and my willy is useless. Lol.

    Dr Geo, I am facing imminent brachytherapy with Gleason 4 + 3 and my question is can testosterone ever return and can my sexual function be fully restored at all? I have clung to hopes of finding the right woman for over 30 years and it isn't clear in my case that I would prefer to live given my high level of chronic depression.

    My last PSA was 4.9. It was basically unchanged from the one taken about 6 months ago. Im desperate to get my low T up to AT LEAST normal levels!! Please reply to both my comments!! Thank you so much...

    I used to suvpliment my testosterone up to normal levels. But since I've had prostate cancer; every time I return to testosterone supplementation my PSA skyrockets very quickly. ( three such trials) So I've concluded that I cannot take testosterone without making my cancer worse very quickly.

    Doc, I have suffered with very low T, for many years. It took my doctor MONTHS...to discover that!! The T injections basically save my life. So, at 50 years old or so, my PSA went up 3 tests in a row. The urologist reccomended a biopsy. One of the 12 samples showed cancer He said it was the type that should be observed. A few years later he recommended another ( horrid) biopsy. That spot of cancer HAD NOT CHANGED.
    MY OWN PHYSICIAN said NO MORE T injections!!! He said it would be like "turning a switch on" for the cancer.
    The low T...really messes me up..and its still beliw the normal range. What do you suggest Doc??

    From all I've read and seen of ADT, I'll pass, perhaps literally. We all have to go.

    Hi, I’m curious if it is safe to take TRT if you have BPH. I’m a 47 year old male. My VA urologist thinks I should steer away from it. I just had my labs checked by a men’s clinic and my testosterone is low at 241. I have symptoms of fatigue no stamina and no sex drive at all right now. I feel I would benefit from being on it. My PSA is fine at 1.1 Thanks

    Question i was at 0.2 NG/ML PSA before TRT and after 3 months on TRT it rose to 0.4. Is there anything to be concerned about? Or is it natural to have a minimum raise of PSA?
    Thank you for any feed back.

    this is a tough subject to talk about and listen to. Urologists are not created equal. Its obvious that each of you always give us different reasons for this disease and the cure. everything is if, maybe, could, nothing is definitive. its all so confusing and scary for most men. its obvious that urologists have no real answers. thanks for your videos. we need you. I wish more men was watching your videos.

    I hope I don't seem too stupid but I am confused about how someone can get prostate cancer without a prostate. If cancer was confined to the prostate and the prostate was removed how does this work?

      i started seeing a new doctor who is way up the chain on prostate cancer, i asked him about it due to my feelings is the spread was from constant stabbing's from biopsy's and he said that if you have prostate cancer it is always flowing in your body in your blood and it was spread before prostate was removed and most peoples immune system keeps it at bay but for the unlucky few it dont. in simple terms it is never contained. he said most doctors dont like to mention that.

    I will have had 2 years ADT along with 35 rad sessions come next Spring for a high risk cancer that was found in Prostate and nearby lymph nodes and seminal vesicles. I have no interest in testosterone supplementation because my testes should recover once ADT is over, they tell me.

    • @robwells230
      @robwells230 Před 7 měsíci

      They told you bullshit
      There's a huge risk that your Testosterone will never recover, or only slightly recover but only many months or years after ending ADT CASTRATION.
      IF they ever let anyone read the info pack sheet that comes with the Eligard shot, it states, in the fine print..
      TESTOSTERONE RECOVERY IS UNDETERMINED.
      AFTER 18 months on ADT CASTRATION, 75 percent of men will not recover their testosterone levels even after a median time of FIVE YEARS.
      You are being lied to and coerced and deceived into taking these toxins, without YOUR FREE AND FULLY INFORMED CONSENT.

    • @robwells230
      @robwells230 Před 4 měsíci

      You have been lied to. Up to twenty percent of older men will NEVER RECOVER their testosterone levels above castrate level, and after 18 months on ADT CASTRATION, 75 PERCENT of ALL men will not recover their normal testosterone levels EVEN AFTER a median time of 5 YEARS.
      ADT is a cruel and barbaric treatment with horrific quality of life destroying and life shortening side effects.
      Doctors and big pharma coerce, deceive, intimidate and extort men into this outrageously expensive toxin without full disclosure about ALL the horrific side effects and the small benefit to cure the cancer
      Without full disclosure, there can be no FREE AND FULLY INFORMED CONSENT.
      ADT may be the only or best option for aggressive or metastatic cancer, but it reduces overall survival by two years and should be carefully considered for locally contained cases.
      It might improve the chance of cure by 5 or 10 percent while killing you from the side effects, or at the least, destroying quality of life.
