Who doesn’t need bookmarks?! Good way to make them. I do my nails every two weeks. Nothing makes them look shabby except acrylic paint, and you can scrape it off.
I love to rewatch these to of course learn what I forgot......but I have to say again .....I live for Sunshine! Adorable plus!

This is so entertaining even if a little dorky. lol. I mean that kindly. This using washi tape is awesome. Most of my washi is in a multi pack, where I only use 1 or 2. The rest just sit. You could even personalize with a name label. You could even add a tassel. Many ideas pop into my head. Thanks

I work at WalMart and we sell the huge aloe leaves and I hated stocking them. OUCH! Leaves is a nice term for them...'swords of pokey death' is more like! I love these bookmarks and already made notes to include some in my upcoming themed journals, which of course means, buying more washi tape!!

I love the bookmarks. I don't have much washi tape, didn't enjoy using it. SO I will drag it out and see if it looks as good as yours.
I have smaller aloe plants in pots, they don't last through the winter here, but the mama pot was FULL of baby ones, so I separated them out a few weeks ago. My arms looked like yours, even though they were small plants. But they are wonderful when you burn yourself! I wouldn't be without them. Hope it will be a LONG time till I have to repot them again.

Haven’t done my nails in eons because fabri tac, inks, etc. would stain, smear, or eat polish off. 🙄 Hope you’re having a great week. (Stop being mean to the aloe plants! They fight back when you make them mad. 😁)

I love these guilding waxes, but safety reminder for everyone, the ones that Pam uses (that smell like oranges) usually have d-limonene in them which is absorbed into the skin and is toxic especially to the liver/kidneys. As a safe alternative, you can buy cosmetic grade metallic fine mica powders and mix with melted beeswax and coconut oil to have a safe version. If you like the orange smell, you can always add a few drops of essential oil. 😘
D-limonene is derived from the peels of citrus fruit. It is found in essential oils made from lemon, orange etc. It is also a supplement that can be taken internally so I'm not sure where you read it's toxic. Just about every is toxic at some high dosage. I doubt we need to worry about the amount in guilding wax.

I have 134 Washi tapes now. I have recorded them in that book I made with the four sections and I have recorded rubber stamps, paper punches, and washi tape in there I have one section left that I think I'm going to record my pigments. I have to try this now.😁

Hey Pam this is a great idea, I actually make belly bands like this. You could also punch a hole at the top and add a ribbon or charms. I love your dip manicure, pre-covid I always had this done it does last a long time and very durable, however I wasn't crafting then😱. Sunny made me laugh today because Chico came in yesterday with pink all over his face, apparently the squirrels and bunnies taught him how to get raspberries off of the bushes so he helps himself to a little snack 😋

@@janiceurffer325 when you glue a strip down the center of a page just on the top and bottom so the middle is left unstuck creating a large area to tuck ephemera under. If you search it on you tube you're sure to find a million examples😀
No worries Pam, the Dip is basically still acrylic, they apply backward (it still gets wet and onto your nail) so it should behave just like salon acrylics.

Nice nails!! I am not a collector of Washi tape but I thought I could use leftover wrapping paper. Some of it is thin but perhaps a swipe of modge podge would seal it. I also have napkins and tissue paper...Lots of them. Going to try different coverings and decorate them. Thanks for the idea!
