Bluster's so much of an evil villain that he could only be bested by a force of opposite proportions. Why eles do you think we never saw Leo Luster and Bluster in the same room together?

This is one of the most fitting shows to binge during the pandemic, a limited cast of characters giving way to isolated madness.
Especially when you get to the episode where everyone gets sick
Bluster Kong is a genius, he invented capitalism, is the base of society, as he manufacturers every barrel, all forms of transportation, and every weapon the society uses, his demise would unironically send them back to before the stone age.
I like to think this as canon because of how fun it is.
People say this shouldn’t be an April Fools Joke, but they’re forgetting that this wasn’t uploaded on April Fools Day.

When I woke up today, I didn't expect to see Bluster Kong perform a literal Super Saiyan-style transformation into the Leo Luster that was inside of himself all along. The fact that that portion of this video was actually taken straight out of the show is kind of amazing.
I came into this video expecting a meme or satirical analysis of an antagonist in a poorly aged 90's sitcom painted with motion captured Nintendo characters, but this has completely and totally, without exaggeration, changed my worldview.
Tbh that's generous saying they're mocapped. The way they're animated I swear they're done completely without reference.

@@dykuvids6821 Personally as a Sonic fan I don't even look back on Sonic X fondly. Mainly due to the fact that they either rushed through or skipped over some very impactful arcs, such as Adventure and Battle.
How is it that the video starts off as pretending, but becomes more and more genuine as it goes on?
Oddity aside, the DKC show has a special place in my heart. It's actually a Canadian cartoon and I was able to watch it through On Demand; falling in love. While it's certainly aged and isn't that good, there's some real effort in it and the show can still be rather enjoyable. There's multiple moments of surprisingly good writing and characters such as DK, King K. Rool and Bluster himself are always entertaining. The voices in the cartoon have become the main voice many people hear in their heads when they think of the characters from the games. I can't help but think of the cartoon when someone mentions DKC.
It's flawed, but it's certainly not trash. There's legitimently good things in this show and Bluster is one of them. He's always been.

Bluster is S+ Tier while Leo Luster was disqualified from the list for being too good and that it would be unfair to stack him against mortal men, hence the fact that he was in only one episode, since him being on screen for any bit longer, would destroy the very fabric of the world we live in.
These comments have revolted me to my utter KORE. How could the commenters of this great channel defile the sanctity of Bluster Kong's name by likening him to a cheap April 1st gag? Absolutely disgraceful.

I will make my mario golf super rush predictions now. Bluster kong will be playable with his stage bluster barrel works, and for Bluster final smash ( or whatever mario star form or ice Luigi rush were called) he turns into leo luster cause man it hurts to be this hip.
Haven’t watched this yet but I sincerely hope its unironic. Bluster is genuinely a really well written foil for DK

Ok, i agree with this tier list but I'd just want to bring up that Funky Kong is much more powerful in the games. He's basically a god tier given that he defeats K. Rool in 64, invented the barrel cannons (according to DKC1 and mario super sluggers), and is a weapons manufacturer who can swing a surfboard hard enough to hit a home run (the force of which would apparently cause a tornado, according to the math someone on tiktok did). Funky Kong in the games is easily the strongest, smartest and nicest character.
However, I'm glad to see that you've picked up on Eddie the mean old Yeti's power to control timelines, though. I'm sure a lesser youtuber (like everybody who pans this cinematic masterpiece) would have let that slip by.
I think the strongest is Chunky Kong
He's also top tier in Mario Kart Wii, rather famously, alongside Rosalina, who is pretty much outright stated to be an actual god.

I'm more of a K.Rool fan any day of the week but hey, opinions are opinions at the end of the day, and the phrase "diabolic sipping tea" coming from the mouth of a Kold-blooded Krocodile like him is truly something to think about. Thank you SO MUCH for making this video! As a big fan of this show since childhood, I find it sad that several people rip this beloved cartoon to pieces instead of trying to find the positives in it like you did with analyzing the character of Bluster Kong.
Bluster the benevolent brings out an interesting facet of his character that I think many will relate upon. Faced with mortality, we all wonder what we'll leave behind, what legacy we'll have, and though his reasoning can be considered selfish, who doesn't want to be remembered?

Bluster Kong's head on Doug Walker is incredibly cursed and I love it.
This is the first time I've ever seen a video about the DKC cartoon that isn't just focusing on how BAD the show is because of the animation/music/etc. Thank you. ( I genuinely really like DKC and wish there could be more discussion on how it can be enjoyable despite it not being an objectively "good" cartoon. Lol )

After watching this not long after a Punch Out boxer tier list, and seeing Donkey Kong ranked low because he wasn't portrayed as 'serious enough', I can now see how stupid it is to expect Donkey Kong be anything but goofy and loveable

I want Bluster Kong to be the antagonist of the next Donkey Kong Country game.

Bluster Kong. The Kong with the most... Money? Bananas? He's rich. With some kind of currency.
Only thing he doesn't have is swag.

The thumbnail makes Bluster look more evil and intimidating than he ever actually was, and it reminds me of Andross as he appeared in Star Fox 64. In fact, if you put Cranky’s beard on him, he would look just like Andross.
As an April Fool’s video, I appreciate you doing what I think is the best approach to the holiday, doing something silly and high effort instead of a mere prank shitpost.
As an actual video essay, you managed to get me legitimately invested in fucking Bluster Kong.
I’d be all up for Bluster Kong being an official character in the games. He could make an interesting game dynamic, as he could vary between helping you (e.g. giving you barrels) and harming you (e.g. putting a barrier in your path so he can save the day).

Wait. So Bluster is responsible for the manufacturing of the barrels, like the barrels used in EVERY Donkey Kong game to date. That makes bluster not only the most important Donkey Kong Character, but the most important video game character of all time. Without barrels, Jumpman would have nothing to jump over. He'd just be Man, and nobody wants to play as MAN! Without Bluster, Jumpman (or Man now) would never gain the confidence to legal change his name to Super Mario Bros. and save video games forever. What would we talk about now, Rocks? Checkers? (boring). Praise Bluster for his gift to us. The world would be a much darker, less danker place without him.

They should have incorporated Bluster into the game.
They *_kind of_* did just that *_*before*_* Bluster was even a thing - Swanky Kong - although the Kong character in the Donkey Kong Country video games was far, *_far, FAR_* less of a jerk than Bluster was in the cartoon show.
@@StevenVillman Swanky came off as more of a gameshow host/used car salesman type to me. Bluster was just an oily creepy, and it would have been interesting to see him working with the Kremlings.

In all seriousness, you say it aged badly but... the reality is it looked terrible when it was new. I distinctly recall thinking the show looked ugly while the N64 was still a current console. Remember, we had Toy Story to compare it to. Heck even Beast Wars managed to look better. It was also incredibly cheesy even by cartoon standards of the time. We had the likes of X-Men, Batman, Animaniacs, Freakazoid, and Gargoyles to compare it to. We also had a bunch of much more terrible shows... but the point is... yea it was never good BUUUUUT... I gotta say I've loved this video and I do adore that Leo Luster is the infinite charisma god we need in death battle... charm battle?
