My favorite and I think most important thing about your channel is that it addresses being late diagnosed. It is extra isolating and seeing you and the others posting here has meant a lot to me. There are many of us out there who need the answers we've somehow found. We all need to help them find it how we can and your channel is a good way of doing so. I also agree to be welcome or benefit from your channel the answer need not necessarily be autism, but finding who you are and being that person.
Your channel and this little community you’ve created definitely helps me feel less alone on this journey. Congratulations on all the new subscribers, you totally deserve it!
Thank you for providing us with a safe space ❤️ It’s really freeing to come here and just sit and listen to you talk and enjoy your coffee ☕️ I so appreciate what you do for the autism community. Every time I watch your videos, I always feel so calm and grounded. 🙏🏼😊🌻🐰
My “favorite” question I was asked after I realized I had undiagnosed ASD was from my dad. “Are you sure?” “Yeah dad, never been more sure of anything!”
Fly season is indeed upon us 😆 my mom got her hair stuck in a fly trap once and I had to help her wash it out of her hair along w all the flies. That was not fun lol. I'm drinking coffee as well, just got into work and gonna enjoy this fine memorial day, remembering those who sacrificed for our safety and freedom, including my dad - may he rest in peace. Love your coffee mug, so unique! I have a coffee mug collection 🙃
That's an awesome mug! I have to use the same mug every day. I really enjoyed your Love on the Spectrum reviews. You provided a nice narrative and really insightful analysis. I feel less alone with your channel. I also feel like autism is normal here, like I don't have to focus on the ways I'm different because I feel accepted here. Congratulations on the new members! So awesome!
Happy Monday everyone! I'm hoping for a better week this week because I was sick last week for the third time in two months. Not sure what that's about. But I can't wait for cold season to be over. June can't get here fast enough.
Thanks for the video Claire... I enjoy the content. I see some of your handiwork around you, very nice... I'm self diagnosed last year... and yes, it was an eye opener. It explained a lot... Kind of a wow moment...but I'm good with it. I went a long time wondering why I was so different than others... Now, in conversation, I try not to say much... Again, thanks for the video...
@@WoodshedTheory not sure if you've seen this, but Michael is lovely. I'm not 100% on his mam though, but he's great czcams.com/video/-0mbDC6-ucc/video.html

I watch because I like your sense of humour (& you do interesting & varied stuff). I broke my 'main' drinking glass 3wks ago in a stupid accident so I was drinking out of the 'wrong' glass/es for a week. Managed to find a replacement at the carboot sales that I liked the look of & have 'bonded' with that one now.

That's great! May I ask how you met your boyfriend, or is it too personal? I'm trying to figure out how all of this works (relationships)... and I sure am having a hard time.
Hey Claire! Just dropping in to express how much I enjoy Porch Coffee even if I don't often have much to say. Look into getting a venus flytrap (Dionaea muscipula)! Sounds like they'd have some good eating. They're native to the marshy coastal areas of the Carolinas, though, so I don't know how well they'd match in terms of climate to where you are. Maybe there's another carnivorous plant that would be a better fit.
Stephen I am so happy to have you here - so I did have some carnivorous plants that didn’t make it but I have recently acquired a small table top green house they might do well in
Hi! New subscriber, here. Early 50s, diagnosed last year. Yeah, it sure explains my life. I'm so relieved & happy that I found your channel. Thanks! I have lots of mugs, with my favorites being my 24-ounce Hello Kitty ones (all, same design). I MUST drink my coffee & tea from them. All of my other mugs are great & I love them. But I'm a stickler on from what I drink my coffee & tea. ☕

Hi Smoo - good question on the y’all - I did spend a few years in Texas but I think my desire for a 3rd person common plural is from being exposed to it in other languages. It’s a gap in English in my opinion.
