Butia Odorata Pindo Palm aka Jelly Palm Seed Cleaning

Short little video documenting the process I use for cleaning palms seeds in bulk, specifically used for Butia odarata, Syagrus romanzoffiana and hybrids of the two. If cleaning small batches of palm seeds this process will be too much and you'll find it much easier to simply clean them by hand a couple at a time. Do be aware that some palm seeds have toxins in the seeds coat, so be sure to wear gloves when handling and cleaning the seeds, especially if you are not sure if they do or not.

Actually yes. Flesh is a sweet to tart flavor and can be eaten fresh, used to make jelly and even wine

Way too much show with the amount of tell in the video. Would have been far more effective with editing. TELL how long to use the paint stirrer, don't show. It's a waste of video time. Great info could have been accomplished in less than a minute without all the nonsense.....
