Ain't got no job ,
cain't pay ma rent , played the blues all night ,
Down the road i went ! 😢😂
Came for the track... stayed for the solo.
This guys solos are an inspiration to me. I hope perhaps EJT will perform someday live music so I can see the shredding IRL
Sound of The solo is fantastic
Mate that lick at the end, are you for real?? Im speechless. 😊
Guy comes up with most clean and at the same time most dirty solos it’s incredible!!!
I’m about to put the hurtin on the set a 9’s bending the sorrows outta this track!
More like this PLEASE!!
I learned more about music theory studying these progression than any professors trying to explain in any forum. Thank teach.
Epic. The dynamics make this track. So much fun pulling back and being coy, then letting loose.
You should share your tone settings! This is sooo tasty it melted my face.
That tone. Damn.
How you come up with so many GREAT tracks, is amazing! Your creativity is on a different level!
Yes. This.
Awesome “key to the highway” vibe. Great track!
That solo is beyond cooked
Love this one. Has a good "sky is cryin" vibe
Love mixing in the mixolydian with blues scale jamming to tracks like these
Love the channel❤
Always quality tracks.
Killer jammage bro!
you are soooooooooo good man, this guitar is talking
im saving this one
Ok, that solo was the balls. That was insane. I had no idea that's where we were in the genre. Progress has been made. I was unaware of said progress. I'm just gonna go run some scales really quick.
Love, love, LOVE - that you have gone the length of making an outro. Thank's man :-)
Fantastic 👍🏻🔥
I'm all over this like a fat kid on a smartie and here you are showing the most tasteful restraint. Damn. Defeated again. 😂
i wish more people made backing tracks w all the stuff like this!!!
You are one BAD JAMMER dude!
Bloody loved this one and your Jams at the end are so inspiring, I always come away from these with a smile on my face!
Thank you for this one! Beautiful blues rock track to jam our hearts out to❤
Neck pickup on a tele is so nice I don't know why everyone wants to change them to a boring humbucker.
Love it. Simple but effective.
Love the mixing of the minor and major in the solo. Was the first thing I went for as well.
This is Top notch playing whew 😅 👏 👏
Yeah!👍🏻
this one is a dimensional shifter
thought i was doing well keeping up with chord changes and then you did that to me at the end. 😃😃
You're making me want a tele sooooo bad
Another banger of a jam track felt so good jamming to this gem!❤
Oh man, you are so incredibly inspirational. Love this track... Thank you
Sooooo nice! Incredible playing man.
Fantastic! I've been jamming away to this all morning on a three string cigar box guitar ❤ the solo is blindin' mate! ❤
Duude! I love this track just what ive been looking for. And you nailed the lead at the end of the backing track part, i can get tones almost like that on helix using like a john mayer gravity type tone tweaked a bit but its still digital, you shoild have the followers not many do vids than are no commentary yet still have the room to teach how its done. Thanks for sharing 👍
2:51 That riff sounds like Danse Macabre.
I envy guitarists that are good at muting
Very nice.
damn good solo
Hey man what is the best way to contact you regarding the use of your solos in a podcast? Would love to get with you on this asap.
🫵🏼🥰🤜🏼🤛🏼🔥🎸
hello, I can't find it on patreon. Is this normal?
Just posted. Apologies, I was a little behind on this one!
Always dreamed of being able to do that at the end but it just wasn't meant to be I guess...
can I solo this on C#- pentatonic? since C# is the relative minor?
Update: It didn't sound good for some reason? However, EMinor pentatonic worked fine, and I think I see him playing the E minor pentatonic on this video. Could someone explain? I thought that if it was E7, then the major pentatonic would be the way to go
apologize for the noob question
@@abelnunez5531 The blues has its own rules relative to other kinds of music -- for starters the I, IV, and V chords are all dominant aka they're triads with a flat-7 on top. You can have a major blues (major triads under that flat 7th) or a minor blues (minor triads under the flat 7th). Often blues licks and vocal melodies mess around with using both flat and major thirds -- it's part of the sound along with bends and using the "blue note" aka the sharp 4 / flat 5 that turns the minor pentatonic scale into a blues scale.
If that's all a little much, here's the simple blues recipe: play the minor pentatonic in the same key as the song. This is an E blues so, as you noticed, the E minor pentatonic is where a ton of classic blues licks come from.
This video does a really good job of covering how you can follow the I,IV,V changes of a blues and mix up the above recipe a little bit so that you don't sound like a pure minor-pentatonic as most of us do at the start.

@@JayPloss hey completely forgot about this post. Thanks for taking the time to reply!
@@abelnunez5531 no prob. Coincidentally I've been working on EJT's solo on this track for the last two weeks or so -- it's a real master class in mixing major & minor pentatonic licks and getting a lot of mileage out of a central motif.
@2:09 : That is NOT a B7 in the backing track!!!
.....ouch.........i think..?
Two questions: Who the fuck is this guy, and when can he join my band?
