- Hi all! I’m back with a #fridaysews video this week.
I wanted to show you my four new makes that I have been sewing up over the past two weeks.
Patterns I used:
I AM patterns: I AM Rainbow hoodie
Sew liberated: Nest sweatshirt
Friday pattern company: Pogonip pullover
Friday pattern company: Heather blazer
I also wanted to share a fabric haul from Selfmade (previously known as Stoff & stil) that I did when I visited Oslo this week. I went for bright colours this time, and I can’t wait to make them up!

Hi Karen Marie I love the fabrics you purchased. I really think the colours suit you. The Pogonip is lovely and snuggly. I vote for a summer dress although I really did love the other green blue dress you made previously. Lovely to hear what you’ve been up to xxxx

Beautiful fabric haul! The Nest sweater is lovely - great color combinations. I agree that the last fabric, with the flowers on it, looks like a dress. I keep seeing a version of the Closet core Nicks dress when you hold it up :)
I'd go with the summer dress option. The fabric says summer to me!

Great makes. LOVE the Nest sweater. You have encouraged me, I have also got the pattern but never got round to making it, will have a rummage in my remnants . Your pogonip is really successful. Love your fabrics, turquoise is one of my fave colours . The peach fabric is so pretty and really suits you. I think it would make a wonderful dress and make the most of the fabric.
Hi Karen Marie! Really enjoyed your video and hearing about your adventures. Your makes look fab, but a bummer about your Heather Blazer. I've never made that pattern as I'm not sure I really suit blazers but I love how it looks on others. Thankfully you have previous successes! Really love the colour of your hoodie and the new fabrics you bought...so bright and cheery! Keen to see them made up. I'd be interested to see the peach fabric made into the Rio Ringer tee with some lovely green neck and arm bands. That would be super cute. Initially I assumed it was woven and I instantly thought it would make the cutest Gilbert Top by Helen's Closet. Anyway, happy sewing and keeping warm! x

Så mye fint 😊. The nest sweater så interessant ut. Mulig litt for komplisert😅. Jeg ville gått for en sommerkjole😊.
