- Deceived by the forces of evil into prematurely bringing about the end of the world, War - the first Horseman of the Apocalypse - stands accused of breaking the sacred law by inciting a war between Heaven and Hell. In the slaughter that ensued, the demonic forces defeated the heavenly hosts and laid claim to the Earth.
Brought before the sacred Charred Council, War is indicted for his crimes and stripped of his powers. Dishonored and facing his own death, War is given the opportunity to return to Earth to search for the truth and punish those responsible.
Hunted by a vengeful group of Angels, War must take on the forces of Hell, forge uneasy alliances with the very demons he hunts, and journey across the ravaged remains of the Earth on his quest for vengeance and vindication.

I love Mark Hamill, he's my favorite joker. Brilliant voice talent, everyone talks about how animated he gets when he's doing voice work. he really gets into each character he plays.

Me too! I'm a little worried that they didn't have enough time/money to make it good, but the trailers looked pretty awesome, so hopefully my worries are wrong.

I mean famine could be more of a warlock and cast spells that make them sick as hell or something but I like the idea of fury

I used to play the original all the time!
Its fun playing the game with garra and the jocker they do well with each other. P.S you get souls from braking stuff like cars,tables and birds so rekt everything wonder.
Also yeah that's definitely Mark Hamill as the Watcher, I know this because I looked at the voice cast for the game.
Nevermind the fact that The Watcher sounds a bit like ole' Hamill's Joker. Give a six-eyed freak a crowbar, and he'll show you a fantastic way to break an egg... or a bird.
Hmm Darksiders 5 a coop game sounds like it'd be fun to play

war: the strongest darksider
death: the feared darksider
fury: the agile darksider
strife: the skilled darksider
Death is actually the strongest out of the 4 as he is the oldest. He's the reason War has a gauntlet for an arm. War was losing himself in his rage in a battle so Death put him down and sliced his arm off.
when chelle was asking about what possible believers of the four horsemen would think about the game that has already pretty much happened when they made dante's inferno a game and there where those poets that did those protest.

Pestilence would likely spread leprosy and bubonic plague. The sight of someone literally falling into bloody chunks that bled yellow pus all over the ground while screaming at the top of their lungs from sheer agony is not kid friendly,hence that cut, and famine would literally turn enemies berserk from hunger or drive them mad as their own bodies devoured them from inside out..also not kid friendly.
Judged these aren’t kid games??

Steam->Library->Darksiders Warmastered Edition->Download->New Game->Hard
I still would have liked pestilence as a sombre caster/spellslinger type of deal which would fit the theme. But making an action game of famine would be near impossible. Maybe a stealth game or sth would have gone with that.
I think Famine and Pestilence would both be glass cannons. Famine would be a spellslinger and rely more on keeping a safe distance with range attacks, whereas Famine would have a Melee-Ranged hybrid style that focuses on interrupting and evading attacks rather than just tanking hits.
The first horsemen was the white one, armed with a bow and interpreted as either Conquest or Plauge... I do not see why he needs to be switched out for Strife or Fury. If Plague, we have the example of Nurgle, god of decay and disease in Warhammer. No issue there really, plague can be very aggressive.
Conquest might seem similar to War, but so is Strife IMO.
Famine can be a bit harder to fit into a fighting game, but at the same time how cool would it be if you could eat people, causing other beings to eat their allies or arbitrarily raise the price of wheat.
