Great thanks in regards to flying if you are on 12 hour flight there no ear buds when using ANC that will last that long how could you fix that problem ? Currently using bose QC when flying that do that job thanks for any response 👍 😀
Cool video
Thanks - my usage pattern is that I would very rarely have them in for more than 4-5 hours at a time. I'd read and give my ears a break and use that for charging time from the case battery, ready for the next session.
FINALLY! An actual good logical review! Nice job 👍
Hey, thanks! Also have a long term review, 1 year later, of the AirFly Pro posted about a month ago on my channel too
You Are Awesome Sir.......❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the wonderful comment! It's comments like these that motivate me to keep creating content. I'm glad you think I'm awesome, and I hope I can continue to entertain and inspire you!
Would this work with an old iPod? I have an iPod nano and it would be cool if I could use my AirPods with it.
Works fine with my wife's old iPod
my headphones came with an in flight aux adapter
In-flight Bluetooth adapter? Nice. No need for this then. But I use my Airpods Pro so much, I love this little device. Seamless switching between movies and podcasts when I need an eye break.
Just wondering if it can be use to connect from 3.5mm wireless mic to bluetoooth on laptop as a mic feed.
Unsure. Interesting use case though - but why? Surely using the proper receiver would be better audio quality?
@@TheTechPacker I got a wireless mic that output via 3.5mm female jack, and a laptop without 3.5mm, only usb c or bluetooth. did tried a 3.5mm to usb c adapter once but it did not work.
I have used other devices that are similar but the issue is always finding my headphones one the plane in the misted of so many other Bluetooth devices. Have you actually connected disconnected and reconnected while on the plane? Has this been an issue?
Will be trying this in two days on a few international flights - send me a reminder and I'll tell you how it went.
+Matt Brandon worked just fine on my international flight today with my AirPods Pro and the entertainment system. Very slick.
@@TheTechPacker great to hear. I travel at the end of the month from Texas to India so ill be able to give it a good shakedown as well.
Hey I was thinking of purchasing one of these Airfly devices and I have seen quite a few reviews of people saying that the sound quality while using it on in flight entertainment was really bad. How was the sound quality for you?
i don't know about their experience, but its always been really good with my Gen 1 Airpods Pro for me!
Will the sound in the headphones lag behind when connected to the TV?
Not that I have experienced.
Will these work with other Bluetooth buds?
yes they will www.twelvesouth.com/products/airfly
@@TheTechPacker tight
Have you actually tried pairing and testing with AirPods Pro 2, because it doesn't work, pairs alright, but no sound.
Not with AirPods Pro 2 - I don’t have those. But worked with my AirPods Pro fine. Tried a re-pairing?
@@TheTechPacker Thank you, yes tried everything I can think of, no luck.
I have the same problem. After extensive testing Apple Genius Bar and myself came to the conclusion that the airfly pro needed a firmware update. I am awaiting an email from 12south re this issue.
@@judyr8806 That's not good at all re the Airpods Pro 2 issue - I hope 12south step up
3/4/23 Airpods Pro Gen 2 does not work. Older Airpods Pro Gen 1 works fine. Waiting on a response from the manufacture.
That will be 99$ only
It's dropped in price a lot, and there's a new, excellent value SE edition out too geni.us/geTF look out for my long term review of Airfly Pro coming up in the next few weeks
