Jess, just want to tell you that whoever is writing your scripts is an excellent writer. I've stolen at least a few lines from you in the past few updates to use on my own audiences as I educate in tech. "Discovery is more fun than documentation," and "You're my captive audience so I get to cook." are the two standouts I can think of right now. Keep it up!
This game is great! Had the chance to playtest yesterday and already got some wins. The depth and replayability is great and its still alpha! Excited for whats to come (oathbreaker>>)
How much of environmental interaction is there in idea for the game , something i would like to see is more environmental destruction, elements and more physics. Interactions.
Last playtest, my complaint + my friends complaint was the unability to see stuff happening. Things not being visible, small outlines for abilities, getting damaged and not feeling you're about to die... You got hit by an ability casted by a dude that was somewhere and now somehow it's somewhere else. Please, fix combat visibility. I can't read what's happening. League differs from Dota also for this thing. While league has very distinct areas with bold lines, dota has no higlight on certain abilities, so you can get hit even if you're outside the "APPARENT" area. (ES SLARDAR SLAM "Q" differs from Gragas Q in a very graphical way.) which is a thing i've not seen in this game on ALL the abilities. Like there's something hitting you and you can't understand since you can't read what's happening. Also instant teleports - blink stuff happening in the meantime.
Me : fills Playtest form saying that ui was si weird i spent more time trying to know my cooldowns mid fight than actually fight Devs : we improved the UI Hell yeah , that's about the only thing that prevented me from happily playing last time
I love this game, but i cant stand the sniper lady. I main her and feel like a god, a good team with her would destroy everyone. Regardless, this game has the play of League but super fast paced
I chose not to playtest because how convoluted you made it. You could've just given me a Steam key but nooo... Lets make me make an account and go to a site and DL yet another launcher. Yeah, no.
BLC failed. Brite failed. Circuits and Shields failed. FANGS failed. Secret Ponchos failed. What makes you think you'll succeed? This looks similar to those, and thus, like another flop.
