I love his satires. The one he did of Michael McDonald about her driving (I think?). Heard the original so many times. Plays in all the stores. So Penn did a great takeoff.

I still binge Ted Lasso, and I've seen it all three seasons multiple times. I love that show. It makes me feel good.

I got so upset when a show that I watch from the UK didn’t drop the whole season! We had to wait for a new episode each week! How did we survive when it took a year to watch a season! When home VCR’s came it was great but no one knew how to program them! It took a PHD just to set the clock on those things! Thanks for the laughs!

We've made a point of making our teen daughter watch new Disney+ shows one Ep/week as they come out, rather than binge them. She still doesn't really get the full old-school effect though of having to be there at the right time every week, or having your show preempted by an overtime sports event and never getting to see it. 😂

Told my husband the interesting bit about Ted Lasso. He said "Isn't that the one about the football coach that goes to manage a soccer team?" I blinked, HONESTLY thinking it was about a news corporation. Now I'm wondering WHY HAVE I NEVER WATCHED THIS???? hahahahahaha. I feel a binge coming on.
Haha. Doing a crossword puzzle with wife, question about a legal term, looked it up. THEN remembered long ago when I did totally binge watch. Police procedurals, almost every one someone put on the air. Nearly all Law and Orders. CSI, all three cities. Homicide. A short lived one called Conviction. So many hours of the same general stuff. I think it was before that that I read all of the Nero Wolfe novels (another "binge"). So maybe not Gen X, but at least this one experience I went through. Don't really do it anymore. Something got "out of my system".

pffft, I installed a plugin can speed up the videos. Binge at 6x speed you can get through a "1 Hour" show in under 7 minutes without ads / bumpers / credits.
Every night at 1am in the middle of a binge, I ask myself if I should read a novel instead...
