Like the girl with the leg straps, that's actually sexualizing them and it could be uncomfortable for some people. And mixing colours that doesn't go together makes it look un-realistic. Sometimes you can't cover the human ears, though I do agree with this. What I hate the most is when they have animal ears, but they add elf ears because then the two pairs of ears are intentional. Also when they add headphones that fit over where their human ears would be? lol

I apply this rule to one of my characters but for a good reason, his name is Harper and it's emotionless because when he makes an expression he can do just a forced smile that it hurt him (he have the Moebius syndrome if you ask), but in the inside is a person full of emotions everywhere, even if he appears annoyed or sarcastic.
He is one of my favorites ones ^^
