Yeah, seriously. Kaido is such as underrated character, with his outlook on the world.
It’s crazy to see how jaded, and subtly intelligent he became. After years of escaping slavery, and sailing with the strongest pirates.
He really is almost a polar opposite to Joy Boy. Such a perfect enemy for Gear 5’s debut battle.

dope video, There's really no evidence kaido read oden logbook since yamato was hiding it , but it is interesting to see that kaido maybe was making a joyboy clone to fight himself one day.
Indeed. Just a neat theory. I find it interesting to think though, that if anyone was going to have found Oden’s book, to leave it for Yamato to discover.
It was probably Kaido himself. Otherwise? They probably would’ve just burned it with Oden castle.
Definitely not claiming any of that as fact though. Just a fun way to think about things. Always nice to take a break from the overly serious, and analytical videos.
@@TUCKALMIGHTY yeah do more theory videos bro , i like this more than your scaling videos, and you are correct yamato did find the book right next to her basically maybe kaido did in fact leave it close by to her.
We’ll probably keep doing them once a month. Though I’m not sure what about yet. Maybe Bleach, or Boruto stuff in the future.
And yeah. It just seems like it would make sense for Kaido to read it, considering his respect for Oden. He also could’ve potentially read it, after thwomping Oden in the back of the head while he was distracted.
There’s not much reason to assume that the new shogun/beast pirates. Wouldn’t have confiscated some of his stuff after he lost. Since we see Oden having to smuggle Enma & Ame-No-Habakiri out of his little cell place, to Toki.
So not that impossible. But again, these are definitely more chill videos. Not meant to be right or wrong, just fun stories.

Kaido is just a gimmick. Was introduce in the OnePiece World just for fun. He wasnt planned to be appear, also his death/defeat was one of the worst in History of OnePiece Manga.
I agree that Kaido was drawn/introduced as a gimmick. Since Oda made it clear in the SBS that he wanted to make a Samurai/Japanese inspired island from the start of the series.
However, I think his loss/defeat. Is not just one of the most iconic in the series (up there with Doffy & Kat.) But it's also the most unique, as no villain in all of One Piece. Has ever seen their dream potentially come true. It really shows how much of a difference Gear 5 made, on the series/plot.
Are there better ways it could've gone? Yeah.
Was it rushed for film Red? Also Yeah.
But did the end result turn out poor? Not in my opinon.
Just my thoughts though. Feel free to check out some of our other vids if you'd like some less Kaido oriented content though!
