Crysis 3 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Crytek, published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The third game sees players take on the role of Prophet as he returns to New York in 2047, 24 years after the events of Crysis 2. He discovers the city has been encased in a giant Nanodome created by the corrupt CELL. The Liberty Dome is a veritable urban rainforest teeming with overgrown trees, dense swamplands and raging rivers. Within the Liberty Dome, seven distinct and treacherous environments become known as the Seven Wonders. Prophet is said to be on a "revenge mission" after uncovering the truth behind C.E.L.L.'s motives for building the quarantined Nanodomes. The citizens were told that the giant citywide structures were erected to protect the population and to cleanse these metropolises of the remnants of Ceph forces. In reality, the Nanodomes are C.E.L.L.'s covert attempt to conquer the world through weapons and technology.

I don't know if you guys have noticed, but Prophet fell on the same place where Nomad fell after they jumped from the ship in Crysis 1, and then the house where Prophet gets up and speaks, the whole place is from the first mission in Crysis 1. I love this game.

I've got to say that this was one of the best stories I've played in a long time. Had a very emotional plot and looks better than most ps3 games out there and prophets voice is just bad ass
I totally agree. Although the gameplay was shorter than most it was the very best story I've ever seen. It had the right drama and emotion and difficult interplay of the major characters without having even one nude woman or a causal sex scene. I loved this game and I just watched Brad play it.

Unlikely cause Crytek is almost bankrupt and Crysis 3 didnt do as well as expected.
How can there be a crysis 4? The alpha ceph is dead and the world gone turn to peace. There will be no crysis 4.

@@Dean- thats one reason plus if they wanting to make part 4, what would the story be like though? Because the alien ceph are dead. Bankcrupt is nothing, its just the effort that they make. I bet crytek would do better if they work on it. Maybe they have some issues.

When he was falling out of the sky, I was looking at the area thinking to myself, "noway, that couldn't be the island" then it showed him walking out of the shack and I lold. Anybody who's played the first 15 mins of Crysis 1 will never forget that view. Awesome throwback to where it all began, nice touch Crytek.

Just setting this straight guys: Alcatraz's body is still inside the suit, but Prophet or Laurence Barnes basically took over his mind.
true, true, a fact no one acknowledges...
what the fuck...you see in crysis 2 when alcatraz shoots himself ,because he gives the nanosuit to Barnes,and Barnes and Alcatraz are Prophets because they weared the suit and killed the alien infestation...why alcatraz shoots himself after giving the suit...well the suit keeped him alive ,because he had alot of problem with his body...the same with Barnes thats why at the final he still haves the Nanosuit in his body
Barnes was Prophet first. Barnes shot himself. Alcatraz put on the suit, at the end of Crysis 2, Prophet, A.K.A., Alcatraz, said, "My name is Prophet", with Barnes' voice....

you know what you not understand?BARNES IS FUCKING MARINE ,IS the marin from crysis 2 when prophet saved him and then gived him the nanosuit because the marine dies without it,and then in crysis 2 Nomad said Alcatraz come to me to make an scan(if you played you know about what i mean)(crysis 2) and then Nomad saw that he is not Alcatraz (Prophet from Crysis 1 is the marine that was saved by Alcatraz....)you fucking saw the dead body of Alcatraz at THE FIRST MISSION and the cutscene and the fòashbacks in Crysis 3....In suit is Barnes(the marine) with mind from barnes + alcatraz andTHE PROPHET IS the name gived because he need to save the world he is a prophet...prophet is not a persone.....What i said is true ..because i played the whole series(crysis 1,crysis warhead,crysis 2,crysis 3)

MiSkEc lulz Actualy, you're Nomad. On Crysis 2 the game explain, at the begining, how Prophet killed himself and how the suit changed your DNA.
Yuri Diehl No! It's Alcatraz an injured marine which his past is unknown to us and that does not make much sense.
In the graphic novels, Nomad dies as he took a rocket for Prophet (or someone else not too sure). Point is, Nomad is dead.

It's Prophet that save the Marine on the begining of the third game and kill himself, them the Marine become Prophet, because the dna on the armor.

I love this whole series, confusing at first but I managed.

There is no human left, there an AI copy running on the nano machines or the suit. There is no meat under the armor, just a swarm of machines that can take any form including a human.

How did Prophet get his body back?
He sort of 'Assimilated' with alcatraz, in the end of 2 , consuming him in the process.

How did he get his physical body back?
The nano suit turned into him. It could become anything so he became human or that's what the game makes it out to be.
at the end in cutscene i heard..... his suit's nanites are set free he can take any shape.......and clearly you can see his face at the end had nanites and he goes cloak mode at end ...it means the suit has became the part of body and outer layer can take any shape.

man this game sucks so bad it took about 2.5-3.5 hours to get to the final boss minus cut scenes, one of the worst games ive played in a while, cysis 1 was much better, even crysis 2 was better

I found the easiest way to dodge the drill attack is to jump down onto the very small "ledge" in the innermost part of the circular base (you can see it from 7:02-7:04, the rightmost part of the screen). The Alpha Ceph's drill never touches that area, so whenever my nanosuit gives me a warning, I just sprint as fast as I can to that inner ledge.
Also, really helps to tag the Ceph superchargers before the battle, so you can run to those and supercharge your nanosuit, giving you temporary invincibility and unlimited Ceph ammo, which really helps especially when you're getting overwhelmed by the enemies that the Alpha Ceph spawns.
Btw, the PC hardware requirements really aren't that bad if you game at 1080p and don't go nuts with AA. My GTX 780M SLI laptop (yes, LAPTOP) can run this on Ultra at 1080p with 2x MSAA, and I average 50-60 FPS depending on the level and how much action is going on. A laptop GTX 780M is equivalent to a desktop GTX 580.

It almost made me cry.
Supercharge your suit with the red power cores. When u hop down on lower level resupply ammo and hang close to the wall and crouch down during onslaughts. Keep fighting and you will mind meld with it 2 or 3 times and kill it. Then you shoot a giant laser and save the world. Running in circles is pointless he does NOT get tired. The pak morter, and gas rifle seem to kill it fastest. Use the other weapons and ammo to defeat the smaller aliens. You will always move slower with ceph weapons equipped.
Probably one of the best--if not the best--endings in a video game I've ever seen..
before i start let me tell you that i truly enjoy your vids and like them verry much.now,you dont need a high end pc for this game.on a 750ti 1080p with medium setting will play very well.
