in addition, in the 3rd game Rasch said that in the Toungouska event they went to investigate and harvested the remains of alien technology (it was a Ceph ship that crashed) and with that technology they founded the Hargreave-Rasch Biochemical, they created Raptor team with Prophet as their leader and sended them to Lingshan island to test the nanosuits they created with both human and alien material.
In crysis 4 (it’s in development after all these years), I want to see what the ceph are truly capable of. I want to see what their full armada looks like.

I wonder if not all Ceph are as evil as the ones that invade Earth as all are nomadic as humans, but most only prefer peacfully colonizing gas giants while those who are malevolent attack Earth-like planets to kill other races in order to prevent them from replacing their species as dominant lifeforms while others oppose that idea of genocide.
Yeah it said in the Lore the phase 3 are more powerful and have centuries of experience it's hard to imagine what they would look like compared to the biodroids on Earth that are cavemen compared to their elite counterparts

The evolution of the Ceph between crysis 1 and 2 is really interesting. They used their giant "Gunship" type mechs and drones, after being defeated by Nomad, Prophet, Psycho, and the US they learned from that defeat and relied on a more combined arms warfare, using standard infantry, heavy weapons, armored equipment like tanks, and aerial vehicles.
So if the Ceph first arrived on Earth 65 million years ago and you claimed the Chicxulub asteroid stopped the invasion, it makes sense why the Ceph didn't take over Earth in the first place and why it remained dormant because of the asteroid. If the Ceph were the ones that killed the dinosaurs, we wouldn't exist in the first place as they killed off all native life. Also, I know it sounds subjective, but would it be awesome if Crysis featured dinosaurs that explain where the Ceph came from and why they remained dormant for 65 million years.
Ceph arrived and began colonisation. 65 million years ago, the only source of energy was renewable and nuclear(fossil fuels were still developing). Earth must have also had far more surface to water ratio. As Ceph began to terraform Earth into an Ocean world, while slowly gathering energy, a meteor struck and covered the surface of Earth with ash, causing a volcanic winter. Any surviving Ceph focal points had to go on strict energy rationing, making them dormant for the better part of Earth's history. Then Hargreave disturbed and awakened them(by studying their nanotechnology, he inadvertedly provided some much needed power, awakening the Lingshan concetration). Ceph on test sites in Crysis 1 usually remained dormant, until they absorbed enough electricity to act as a catalyst for their main way of energy gathering(by freezing everything around). This process itself took decades, before Ceph concluded they were capable enough to engage humans in combat. Use of nuclear weapons just sped up the process of them evolving for terran warfare.
So our nuclear weapons is like a energy bar that get them stronger

I don't really think they would have anything against animals that don't threaten their centuries years of work unlike humans who destroy everything that they worked hard towards an old dear so maybe they are not as evil as we think they are but still they probably killed God knows how many species out there that sadly did not have a chance they could be like the brethren moons from dead space and killed all other live leaving nothing but them and humans but we still don't know how many other species remain out of their grasp even though another thing that also bugs me is that it said that they go and wish to see how other species think and collect their knowledge if that's the case then why don't they just set a truce with other species similar to how the covenant formed in Halo even though that was mostly done by force and slavery.

I think that remastering any Crysis game is disrespectful. They dont look bad yet and never will.
@@spartan2299 well remastering the mechanics a tad would not be bad,so having crysis 2 either go crysis 1 and keep the different suit modes (Strength,speed and such) or Crysis 3 and make sprinting not cost energy and the rest of what I said prior. (Also redoing the cutscenes on Crysis warhead and maybe 1)

@@honorguard7616 that could be głód, but recently remastered games are only graphical changes and cutcenes. When Crysis remaster launches, I hope that it will contain new gameplay mechanics.
I never found them because I didn't realize that Crysis had any.
I was so worried about beating the games to do the story.
I mean I did come across some of those secrets, but I always thought they were just apart of the game in some way.

Now imagine the nightmare that would be if the flood got a hold of ceph genetics and that adaptability. Even an early flood invasion with ceph adaptability would escalate flood combatants to low higher civilization levels of infantry.
I think Flood is still superior, since they are just Ceph on steroids.
@@vitaliyred622yeah but the flood are more like rabid beast compared to the celph because the stuff are better organized they have their own technology that the flood don't even have anymore after it was wiped out by the Halo array not to mention we don't even still fully understand the full power of the celph we haven't even seen the phase 3 yet.

@@melkorianproductions4235 not really, as far as they knew nothing was here when they arrived just animals. Now the ones they sent seem to be all dead and we remain with advanced tech based on their tech.
So needless to say they are missing a few details of what happened, they already colonized it

Cell as a whole has a different agenda they don't care about if prophet is the only one that saved the world they only care about themselves for power to control the world from Crysis 2 and 3 they nothing but selfish people I always killed them head on or stealth cause the it's either with us or against us and cell is against prophet.

What do you think the white beam is from the battle Ship?
I think its a ice beam that Cover the entire Planet or a part with ice to fight on the ice.
Or its a pure destruction attack to kill all life and re create cephs on the Planet.
The main job of warrior cast send by Hivemind is to destroy ANY opposition from the face of the planet. So the beam most likely was high energy laser that scorched surface of earth, making it litteral hell, with most likely nothing but melted rocks and air unsuited for us to live and no water, even in oceans. Without any obstuctions, new generation of Ceph would be born on this planet which would be taken by them and later maybe even terraformed for their needs

kinda funny how the ceph are similar to the combine or universal union as they are called from half life
both only display a small fraction of what they can do:
the ceph only have workers and farmers doing the fighting
the combine only use HUMAN turned soldiers and tech to keep the peace
we havent seen in any official manner what they can do at full power
the ceph have dedicated warrior cast we havent seen in action
the combine have already conquoured the planet and simply left a police force to keep the peace

I did not really like how this story about the Ceph was handled. Putting such fascinating and scary details into the background wich 2/3rd of players completely passed without noticing, is just a shame.
When I played through the games I was always upset about the bad storyline since I thought it was mashed together, not fully coherent and the stage 2 ceph were too far away from the stage 1 ceph. I didn’t see the connection and thought crytek simply made a half assed rework to make more diver ceph enemies
One thing I want to know do only the high-ranking celph have individuality while others like those bio droids you fight in two and three are just mind-controlled expendable flesh and metal because I would love to fight with celph that are against the other hive minds ways similar to The wraith conflict in Stargate Atlantis especially flying alongside aliens that were driven from their homes by the ceph because seriously I can't wait for crisis to truly go into space like halo and mass effect literally in the endgame now and time to upgrade to phase 3 nanosuit.
