Platelet count is one of the lab tests used by a doctor or a hematologist to assess whether your platelet number is normal, low (thrombocytopenia) or high (thrombocytosis).
Bleeding 🩸 time (BT) is another test for platelet function.

How come there is THROMBOSIS if there is no FIBRINOGEN? thanks Dr
If there is dysfibrinogenemia, fibrinogen can’t adsorb thrombin, so it won’t be inhibited I guess
@@ayahmaraashly you may mean if there is hyperFIBRINOGENEMIA (more than 400 ml) ، there is more Fibrin hence continuous growth of a thrombos, right?
