Congratulations again hun. Its Tori, we too didnt have fruit cake at our wedding and my dad was upset about that (well not upset but the convo was heated) he was like how can you get married and not have fruit cake at a Jamaican wedding? but hey I was the one getting married. My husband and I dont even like cake that much so we opted for oreo something of the sort and gave our guests cupcakes lol We did a lot of untraditional stuff and Im well pleased with how everything turned out. No ones opinions/suggestions mattered when not asked and believe me when I say that we sure did have a lot of that. All in all it was so fun planning and my man and I are debt free. Ive heard stories of persons who started off their marriage in debt due to wedding planning. crazy. BUT From one Mrs to another all the best muma and godspeed. xoxo
Girl I can totally relate! At one point we were told to at least give the guests fruit cake and we have the other flavour. I was like NOPE! Debt free is the way to go ! My opinion is that if a wedding is gonna put you in debt , you can scale down. Thanks love , all the best to you too!!
