Sweet! Thanks for the longer vid! I might try to get my first lever gun soon, a .45-70 "tactical". Something fun about working the action on those!
Lever guns are really taking off. You're gonna have a real blast with .45-70 but keep in mind the ammunition is super expensive unless you're doing your own reloads, and you'll likely have a sore shoulder after a day at the range. Keep in mind that .45-70 will demolish mild steel plate and the penetration on ballistics gel is nuts.
I can't wait to get ahold of the new Ruger Marlins. Ranger Point Precision and Midwest Industries really letting everyone make things sound and tactical.
Year or so ago I mentioned a load to that I found you through the CZcams shorts and you should make loads of them because they are getting the biggest algorithms boost for watch time and stuff and you've done loads since (obviously because that's what you were doing and how I found you not my suggestion at the time I'm sure) and your channel has gone like in this last year alone has jumped more then half a million subscribers..

The C96 mauser is called the Red9 in resident evil 4.
There is such a thing as a Red9 in real life too, and it has some cool history. A buddy has one. I'll borrow it for some videos.

How exactly do you get all your guns legally in canada? (i assume that's where you're from) and how do you legally shoot in your videos? im from the states so im use to just going to the range and shooting and buying whatever guns or ammo they have
Everything I had prior to 2020 was legal in Canada at the time. A bunch of stuff got banned the day I got married (fun coincidence) but due to a relationship with a local business I am able to work with machine guns and other various banned guns up here for content purposes.

Barrel collapsed is just for transit/compact handling. The chamber is always empty when it's like that. If you have a loaded mag inserted, and press the button to extend it, it will automatically chamber a round and be ready to fire. I saw a video of a training exercise where a soldier jumped out of a humvee with the barrel tucked in, then extended the barrel and getting right into engaging targets. Very cool and quite practical.

Yeah that was kind of dumb on my part. Normally you would get 'Garand thumb' when loading a full clip improperly. I was just depressing the follower while removing tension from it with the bolt to close the action and it slipped on me. It can be a lot worse.
