I've heard the Oseans being compared to this country called the "USA". Sounds like some weird rip-off tbh.
And your Belka is compared to this Germany country, which also bred wars in the world called "real life"
I live in an Osean Michigan, so I feel pretty good about that.
The Oseans are essentially the strange real version of the United States, this becomes immensely obvious in ace combat 5 when you are stationed on an island on an atoll in the center of the pacific, called sand fish island, which is located roughly at midway and midway irl has an island called sandfish, take into account their government type their weapons they are shown with the uniforms the then when looking at their rival in that game the Yuktobanians who are Russian as hell and they are both ways of representing the US and Russians without actually directly saying it.
The diffirence is Osea are more advance and they always hate warmonger.
the Osean Federation sees the US' budgets and says "pathetic".
I love how the countries of stragereal are extremely closely related to their real world counterparts (Osea=USA Yuktobania=Russia Belka=Germany Erusea=Spain/Italy) However, at the same time, they are also very different from eachother as well. Ace Combat honestly has some of the best lore out of any modern combat game out there.
Erusea is more like France and Italy than Spain which is more like Sapin (which is just Spain with two letters switched).

Well done, but I have a couple of issues to point out:
- From 0:15 to 0:40, all of those scenes were from a completely different continent, but the narration implies that we were looking at Osean land.
- The Arkbird was not constructed until after Ulysses' planetfall. It was built in the mid-2000s to clean up the atmosphere of the residual debris (debris that was still present in 2005, according to Ace Combat 04's final mission).
- Yuktobania's Scinfaxi and Hrimfaxi were constructed during the Cold War, but 4:20 incorrectly implies that they were related to Ulysses.
At 4:28 it also says that Osea invaded Yuktobania because of the supposed death of Harling but instead it is totally different.
At first President Harling counterattacks Yuktobania but tries to reach peace and stop the war. The point of the war was that both nations had to destroy themselves in a nuclear war. Because of this the Grey Men decided to secretly kidnap him and the vicepresident and officers who were pro-war gained the power to invade Yuktobania. Only after a long time the Wardog squadron discovers that Harling strangely had disappeared, discovering that he was taken away by the 8492nd squadron. So the soon to be Razgriz squadron finds him in Sudentor and saves him.
Now I want an RTS game in this universe.

Don’t forget that the economy is so healthy it can produce fighter jets like they’re potato chips (they go through them just as fast)
Oseas economy from my research is about 5x bigger than the US, and thats a conservative estimate..... dont forget osea can also produce aircraft carriers and ships faster than china so their military industrail complex is likely MUCH larger than the 3 world powers combined. Put it simply, if osea suddenly appeared, no one, not even NATO would match them
@@Furyfrags How were you able to estimate the size of Osea's GDP? Where'd you find statistics? I'm interested to know.
It IS a huge country - about the size of the real-life USA and Canada put together, from my estimation.
@@ennui9745 from comparing its war time GDP to some released statistics in the ace combat community. Let me give you a metric. Osea produced a total of over 8000 jets in the wars it fought, and osea has built a total of 22 aircraft carriers. Even by WW2 US metrics, this is pretty goddamn impressive, to say nothing about current difficulties on making advanced jets.
@@ennui9745 if the US lost 3 battlegroups worth of carriers and ships, it would deal a pretty major blow. Osea? Nah they just rebuilt them in the matter of 8 months. The losses inflicted by erusea in the opening stages of AC7 was almost completely reversed and recovered by farbanti, which is less than a year
