I have had my car for over a year and need to get an oil change so in this vlog I go to a place I saw over by the Abacan Bridge. I have seen numerous places and have checked in to a few but wasn't ready to pay the high prices I had heard, this places price was acceptable.

Just a heads up on oil changes. Always use the required oil viscosity of the manufacturer. It is posted on the oil cover cap and maintenance book. All the new engines have higher specs and tolerances than older cars and are designed to operate with the required oil specs for optimum engine performance and longevity.
I had to get used to the idea of the oil differences now. Now it’s synthetic and 0W?
@@dave-d-grunt 0W oil can be fully synthetic or can be a mixture.
@@Robmar40 I’ve been using the synthetic. I was just so used to W30 and W40’s for so long. I had thought the OW was for cold weather. Learn new things everyday right?

it’s about $5 less than i was paying in the States every 3 months which im sure is how higher now 👍
About 6 weeks ago I bought a 2024 Xmax 300. My cousin and I was hauling it home in his truck and we got rear ended. Scooter got some minor damage. It's still at the dealership now waiting for an estimate.
I went earlier today to take my vision and written tests for my endorsement. Was told I had an outstanding suspension from Florida and couldn't be tested. The suspension was 15 -17 years ago and was resolved then, or so I thought. Something's telling me I might not be meant to ride.

I paid $1,000 for a 1980 Yamaha 650 special with 4700 original miles on it in 2014 at a yard sale ! Traded it in on a truck.

There’s a Shell at NorthWalk at Friendship and M.A. Roxas I’ve gone to for oil changes. Your location is closer to my apartment and I regularly go to the Chowking there. I know Honda requires all maintenance to be done at their service centers to maintain the warranty.
The dealer mandate is a PI restriction I guess, that service warranty demand is illegal in most western countries as far as I know. Certainly is in OZ where any qualified licensed auto mechanic can undertake the car warranty (in accordance with the manufacturers requirements) and stamp the logbook.
This is the Philippines… doesn’t matter really as car maintenance costs are less here.
