There's a lot about this flaming trashcan of a human being that bothers me. Most of all is probably the fact that in terms of love, Big Ed doesn't want to work for it. He wants instant gratification. He thinks that if he just love bombs someone they'll get swept away and give him the love he wants without actually knowing him as a person. Kaori was trying to give him a chance, she wanted to go slow to get to know each other and to enjoy each other's company. But Ed wouldn't stop love bombing her and she wasn't having it same as all the rest of the women who rejected him. You can't be lazy in love, dude.
Real love is supposed to make you WANT to do good things for this person AND want to KNOW more about them and let them see the real side of you, it all looks like he never felt real love, he only thinks about s... and prestige.

I got out of a bad 4yr long relationship and was dating a new girl and I was there for the girl, always listening, always there to be a shoulder to cry on. We were kissing one day and she stopped and said, âI donât feel you romantically anymore. Youâre more like a friend.â
