We had planned the ascent to Mount Teide for a long time, but we got out only now. The easiest way to get to the top is by car to the starting station of the Cable Car (2356 meters above sea level). The road takes about an hour from almost anywhere on the island. Then go up the Cable Car to a height of 3555 meters. It is better to book tickets for the Cable Car in advance on the website

The remaining "meters" to the top, located at an altitude of 3718 meters (the highest point of Spain and the Atlantic Ocean`s islands also), on foot along an equipped, but quite physically demanding path. To climb the very peak, you need to take a special permit (free of charge) on the website www.reservasparquesnacionales...
It is necessary to take a permit in advance, sometimes 2...3 months before. Also, from the Cable Car's upper station, you can walk to the observation deck at Pico Viejo. It is best to start with this, because this short hike (~ 25 minutes in both directions) may not be enough after the ascent and descent from the very peak of strength.
In August 2020, friends from Ukraine were supposed to fly to us, and we booked for everyone the opportunity to climb to the very top in advance. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, they could not fly, since the borders to Spain were closed for Ukraine. But we decided not to cancel our plans and made this truly monumental climb. For my daughter, 9 years old, the last meters of the distance was difficult - her head worried, and fell asleep from a lack of oxygen, but nothing serious. Being at the top is something indescribable, the views are simply awesome and no camera can convey this. So I advise everyone to definitely climb the Pico del Teide volcano and see the entire island of Tenerife from there, as well as the other Canary Islands closest to Tenerife - La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro and Gran Canaria.
You also need to know that you can go up and (or) go down on foot, but that's a completely different story

Подъем на Тейде мы планировали давно, но выбрались только сейчас. Самый простой способ, чтобы попасть на вершину - это добраться на автомобиле до начальной станции Канатной Дороги (2356 метров над уровнем моря). Дорога занимает около часа пути практически из любой точки острова. Далее подняться на Канатной Дороге до высоты 3555 метров. Билеты на фуникулер лучше бронировать заранее на сайте

Оставшиеся "метры" до вершины, находящейся на высоте 3718 метров (самая высокая точка Испании, а также островов Атлантического Океана) пешком по обустроенной, но довольно требовательной физически тропе. Для подъема на самый пик необходимо взять специальное разрешение (бесплатно) на сайте www.reservasparquesnacionales...
Брать разрешение необходимо заранее, иногда за 2...3 месяца. Также от верхней станции Канатной Дороги можно прогуляться к смотровой площадке на Pico Viejo. Лучше всего с этого и начать, так как после подъема и спуска с самой вершины сил на этот небольшой поход (~25 минут в обе стороны) может уже не хватить.
В августе 2020го к нам должны были прилететь друзья из Украины, и мы для всех забронировали возможность подъема на самую вершину заранее. К превеликому сожалению из-за COVID19 они прилететь не смогли, так как границы в Испанию для Украины были закрыты. Но мы решили не отменять наши планы и совершили этот по-истине монументальный подъем. Для дочки 9 лет последние метры дистанции дались сложно - тревожила голова и клонило в сон от нехватки кислорода, но ничего серьезного. Быть на вершине - это нечто непередаваемое, виды просто обалденные и ни одна камера передать этого не сможет. Так что всем советую обязательно подняться на вулкан Pico del Teide и увидеть оттуда весь остров Tenerife, а также другие ближайшие к Тенерифе Канарские острова - La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro и Gran Canaria.
Также необходимо знать, что подняться и(или) спуститься можно и пешком, но это уже совершенно другая история.
