Never been able to open up the GPS 430 ? i'm on x-plane 10 with version 2.0 of the plane. Thanks for this very helpful video.
What is the point of throttling the engines constantly? Do they not have variable thrust that can be maintained at a particular thrust level to maintain set flight parameters? If I was on that flight that constant up/down whining would make me open a door and jump out.

Love all that you do and most grateful. Your videos well explained and easy to follow. I love this video but was a bit puzzled by some activities. I noticed you made changes to speed and approach altitude, unlike other videos where these things were done automatically once you entered via the FMC. Could you please explain why you had to do some things manually? Thanks

Open the Plane Editor (in the root of X-Plane) and load the Eclipse. Add the GNS430 in the same spot.
