Same to you! And, in a few days we are getting even more snow. Spring just keeps on giving.

Those are really healthy looking birds đŸ’Ș. Peppers like warm and moist soil for germination. I've grown Aji Dulce, Cubanelle, Culantro, and Cilantro they did not germinate. I live Upstate NY as well. My seeds were in the garage under grow lights and covered with the plastic tray for condensation. I called my Dad in P.R. and he said to buy a plant tray heating mat because peppers, culantro, and Cilantro seeds prefer 70-80 degrees. Once I got the mat, they sprouted, and the second batch germinated and sprouted in half the time.

You dad is correct about 70-80 degrees in order for your seeds to germinate. In my previous residence in New Jersey I had a couple heat mats and they worked really well. Here, I don't need them because I put them in the basement close to my heating equipment and it stays very warm all Winter and Spring, maybe about 78 degrees. Today I noticed my culantro (recao) finally germinated, exactly 21 days after planting. Late to arrive but it's going to be another great summer.

Hi Ovi, Happy Easter to you and your family. Thank you for doing what you do in your video's. You have really inspired me to do a little gardening. It's my first time gardening. I have the lamps & heating pads. They have sprouted pretty quick and some of them are touching the clear cover. When do I take the cover off and transplant them into a bigger container? I'd like to show you what was done so far and learn more of your experience in gardening. Thanks again!

Hope you had a great Easter. I take the cover off my seedlings the minute I see them sprout. There is no need to use the clear cover as they grow. I only transplant to bigger containers "if" they are staying inside the house for two or three months. But if I lived in a warmer climate then I would plant outside in a garden after a few weeks.

    Like they say on infomercials
..And There’s More! lol. We are supposed to get another 10” on Wednesday and 4” more on Thursday.
Those gas shocks are temperamental in the winter. I don’t know how many times I’ve been hit on the head with the rear hatch back on Tina’s jeep.
Happy Easter to you and your family!

Hi Aaron. Oh yeah! Another 14 inches or so of more snow coming up. It will be interesting. I almost again replaced the tractor snowblower with the loader but not any more. I may have to wait until June. Ha! Happy Easter and greetings to your mom and Tina.

It's a good idea but it would freeze up here in 5 minutes, unless you bury it three feet deep but the expense is not warranted. The heated waterers are doing a fantastic job for now.

BTW, Family Dollar and Dollar General have Non GMO heirloom seeds on sale 4 for a dollar. And micro greens for 2 dollars.

Good to know. I only try to germinate seeds that I cannot find plants for at the local nursery. All the nurseries in my area open around May 15th and that's where I will be buying all my plants. The good thing about buying plants at the nursery is that they have already done the hard work for you. All I need to do is plant them on the ground which saves me a lot of time. Thinking about expanding my garden. It can never be big enough.

Correct. It was a test to see who was paying attention.

Why don’t you put some sort of cover for that entrance to the feed so the snow or rain doesn’t go in? It would be that hard to put, even if it’s just a tarp.

It's a good idea but with the wind we get up here in the mountains the snow would find its way under it anyway and I would still have to remove it. Hmmm....
