It’s really interesting how much counterplay this game has. You can use fire to counter gas and smoke to counter fire. Glitch can counter all abilities and turrets and trophy system to counter glitch
If you attach the trophy system to an arena carrieable and throws it on a point it will treat all mines and traps like projectiles and destroy them when it lands. Also goo counters turrets.

It’s cool how everything is physically interactive with each other. We put the vault on a jump pad and it just stayed floating in the air. All they had to do was destroy it but it certainly made them think long enough to keep ‘em away lol

Apex has just become extremely dull now, and especially when you play it as your job, it would be even more miserable. The Finals is very refreshing and different.

Thermal is an absolute dog shit equipment. It has a moderate use for countering invis, but even at that it's way too slow. You're infinitely better off using literally anything else.
It's a fun game and great concept but man it's so frustrating to solo queue, more so than any other game. Seems 9/10 times you are matched with light characters that just never play with the team. W Timmy though, he will slay in this game!
Literally every solo queue players runs light and never stays together or your duo teammates are holding hands in wrong areas lol
one of the reason I play heavy. Heavy is lowkey op, health is quite high, the shields are bonkers and they have a one shot mechanic with c4
I find the first game mode seems to be easier to squad play with randoms. But the second is a nightmare.
@@maddenplaya2097yeah I was like that for the first 3 hours.. 😅 Man I love light and the pistol I'm really good with him too and I'm top fragging most of the time but when I have Randoms I always play medium because it's so much more useful. But now I got my friends hooked to the game and I don't have to solo q anymore

I love the strategy in this game it’s got movement and aim definitely helps but watching someone beat you with strategy especially against someone like Timmy shows the quality that Alex was lacking
Its very unique compared to most known fps. Basic floor lvl looks simple... not really different than other fps. But god, as more experience u get, the more u know about all these unique mechanics and strategies. Imo for me, fun factor is most important, and yeah... that game is fun af.
If it was any more stylish, I would be down. After hearing the voicelines I got too flaccid though. "Goo grenade out." And then the outfits... eesh..

AI Hybrid voice acting does indeed have that effect. It's not all bad but yeah the outfits suck. I have 0 drive to even get an outfit (none are appealing)@@nailinthefashion

I agree that you can only get creative until a certain point.But it's supposed to be great like let's say "Oh this is literally the deployable shield from R6" or "This is literally the Reinhardt shield".

@@LucidDreamn ah yeah I didn’t think about that, I just love how fluid the movement and momentum was. I know the game is by former Battlefield/Mirror’s Edge devs, would’ve love to have seen them carry some of that parkour movement over too.

ive been tryna play this game on my GTX 1070 and i5 8th gen but a bit too hard to run.. 80fps doesnt sound bad but when im used to at least 144 on a 240hz monitor it feels impossible to play competitively. Hoping to be able to upgrade soon and will definitely start playing this as my main game.
Keep playing this, it's much more entertaining than Apex.

And theres no sound and its all instant death for being 3-4 character lengths away from the explosion epicenter of any said explosive.

Imo, classes are a dumb concept that will just give headaches to the devs for balancing. This game with everybody having the same stats as a medium and keeping all the gadgets and stuff would make for an amazing game. 2H + 1M with 4 shields and heals is getting boring real quick. Inb4 hurr durr glitch grenades. Requiring everybody to run a particular piece of utility to maybe counter the strongest strat stiffles innovation

Love the game so far, sad about the movement nerf, i truly believe this game is a glimpse into the future of comp fps gaming.
The didn’t nerf movement, the tweeted that you just need to change your FOV from 70->90 all they changed was movement animations you still move at the same speed as the beta
They actually changed how sliding works so it immediately starts slowing you instead of there being a delay. It means movement is a bit less flow-y then it was in the OB
I dunno how the betas worked but I do know the only speed advantage you get is from sliding off edges and going downhill.
