Oh wow! This really shows up the Melodyne artifacts. 😮 Thank you for the great video. I’m on Revoice Pro. And yup falsettos seem to be hard for things to track too. Had an Auto-Tune thing with that. Thanks again. 👏🏻

For sure. I was caught off guard when I heard the difference. I wish they just teamed up and made the ultimate product haha.

Just a note, I bought Melodyne Essentials for like $15 and it's free often. Then the upgrade to assistant is only $50 when it's on sale a few times a year and that will cover most people's work. Going up to Editor allows for polyphonic editing if you really need that and that's only $149 on sale from Essentials. I just upgraded to Studio from Assistant for $199, so all in, I'm under $300 for the full Studio version which I only got to do multi-track vocal editing stuff. I'd really be fine with Assistant for $50.

Ease of use and pitch correction is why most prefer Melodyne. Price is secondary for professionals.

Agreed. Melodyne is so much easier and quicker to use for me personally.

In melodyne and waves tune I get these weird random jumps where a note blob will go way up to another octave and it's unfixable. is revoice any better?

You can fix this in melodyne by clicking on the little wrench icon in the toolbar. This will take you into note assignment mode where you’ll see outlined empty wave forms where you can double click and it will snap the wave blob into the correct octave. Revoice has a similar feature but I think melodyne has an easier time fixing this problem.
