    Okay, I'll lay out Nero's feats for any none DMC Fanboys. To begin, we first have to lay out Dante/Vergil's feats (the two are exact equals at the end of 5), as Nero's feats primarily come from bullying Vergil at the end of 5.
    So lore in DMC says Mundus literally boots Lucifer out of his throne in hell when he takes the seat, hes strong enough to bully real world .
    DMC 1 Dante beats Mundus (DMC 3 Dante and Vergil are also retconned to be strong enough to take on Mundus with their DTs via the Before the Nightmare book)
    DMC 2 Dante one-shots an enemy multiple times stronger than Mundus
    In DMC 3, Vergil's weakest/youngest appearance, he's said to be capable of channeling the energy of a supernova into his punches and kicks with Beowulf, thats base form.
    His regen is also so quick that when he gets bisected by Dante (literally cut into two pieces by his exact equal), his body heals and reattaches itself completely in less than a second.
    Dante, and subsequently his equal, Vergil, have *infinite and immeasurable speed and strength feats (Id show you the scans but I obviously cant do that here) shown when Dante bullies Nightmare (immeasurable strength) and is capable of matching Pluto in speed (Pluto is so fast he can jump through time, and Dante matches him in speed.)
    In *DMC1* Dante is capable of bullying 'Nightmare', an enemy explicitly stated to be capable of physically lifting and crushing the *entire* Demon Realm.
    Now let me be clear, the Demon Realm is also explicitly stated to be 9D.
    Ergo, DMC1 Dante is Complex Multiversal at worst. He is multiple times stronger than that in DMC2 (He goes from having to go all out to beat Mundus, to being able to one-shot (literally, one bullet from one of his guns kills the man) someone whos multiple times stronger than Mundus...in his BASE FORM (Devil Trigger isnt an explicitly stated multiplier, and based on some sources Ive seen could be from x2 to x10). Dante continues to get stronger in base form in DMC4 and 5, in 5 he even rematches Nightmare effortlessly while juggling the attacks of Shadow and Gryphon as well (Gryphon has light speed attacks bc he uses lightning, and Shadow most likely scales to Gryphon as well, so). Dante knows how effortlessly he can beat these three, including that Multiversal enemy of *Nightmare* in his base form, he literally says "They *know* they don't stand a chance, why are they doing this?". Gryphon tells Dante "If you had _any_ trouble defeating us, imagine what Vergil is going to do to you", just reinforcing how many leagues above Nightmare and his gang Dante and vergil are. The two are in base form, no doubt, Hyperversal.
    Now here's the big one:
    Vergil is so fast he can effortlessly shatter reality in his base form via Judgement Cut End. His generic punches and kicks in base form are the equivalent of the death of galaxies, or possibly even bigger. The Yamato, his primary weapon, is explicitly stated to be capable of cutting through time and space.
    and Dante and Nero are both shown to effortlessly react to and defend against all those attacks.
    Oh, forgot to lay out Dante's styles.. Dante's Styles are the games way of letting you taste some of Dante's canonical power without making the game to unfun. They let you focus on one aspect of Dante's kit and make it more powerful to feel closer to the real Dante.
    Trickster, Gunslinger, and Swordmaster, arent that important, those are just game mechanics to give your attacks some extra flair and make Dante a little more complex. I want to talk about everyones favorite.
    *Royal GUARD!*
    Royal Guard is the games way of letting you experience Dante's full defensive capabilities. Canonically, no, he doesnt actually need to shout ROYAL GUARD and enter that goofy stance to block things, thats just how the game does it for balance. Royal Guard lets Dante block any and all incoming attacks from any opponent, and hes capable of storing the energy of the attack and using it for his own strike as well, doing insane damage that can be amplified by his Devil Trigger. Yes, this includes Vergil's all powerful attacks like Judgement Cut End (the reality breaking sword strike) and Hell on Earth (the simple punch to the ground thats literally 2.33x stronger than JCE, according to the game's actual damage numbers). Considering Nero in Base Form now officially scales to Dante/Vergil's base forms as well, or at least the slightly more exhausted versions of them...yeah. Defense on these guys is crazy,
    Oh, Dante also has Quicksilver? Yeah he can literally just stop time. Nero actually has the same thing in the form of a Devil Breaker. He can legitimately just *stop time* for a bit just for fun, either in a contained bubble around himself or overall in the entire fucking world.
    Vergil, whos slightly tired from fighting Dante, but still insanely powerful, gets bullied by DT Restored Arm Nero at the end of the 5.
    Nero is capable of outspeeding tired SDT Vergil, who is still fast enough to *literally shatter realities* just for shits and giggles, as shown by his ability to react to Judgement Cuts and JCE (Which are attacks that literally travel through time and space)
    Nero is capable of outstrengthing tired SDT Vergil, as shown when Vergil flies into the air and comes flying at Nero for a full power dive bomb, and Nero is capable of *catching* him and dunking him like a basketball
    Nero is capable of matching in stamina tired SDT Vergil, as shown when he uses the Devil Bringer on him and they engage in a bit of back and forth swordplay, and they both end up on their knees to take a breath for a moment because of it.
    Nero also shows the effortless ability to blitz lightspeed opponents via the fact that Blitz's (enemies in 4 that are made of sentient lightning) get bullied by him, Artemis (a boss in 4 that fires literal beams of light) gets bullied by him, and Furies (enemies in 5 that jump through space to hit their opponents with crazy speed) still get bullied by him, theyre all fodder compared to Devil Breaker Nero, or even One Armed Nero at the start of 5.
    So yeah, thats about all.
    Vergil and Dante in SDT are both approximately Low-Outerversal. They arent neccessarily Outverversal/Boundless, but they're beyond Hyperversal in DT alone, and SDT is multiple times stronger than that. And Nero is capable of standing against them 1v1, making his DT form ~Hyperversal.
    I dont actually know much about Hellboy, but if you want to go ahead and compare his feats to these and the many, many more that are out there for DMC characters (like Nero manhandling Sanctus, or Dante and Vergil in DMC3 bullying Arkham, who had the strength of their father Sparda, who was a being capable of separating different dimensions and had essentially full physical control over the Demon Realm, making him Complex Multiversal just like Nightmare!)

    Since Nero bitch slapped Dante and beat a weakned Vergil I think that id enough of a feat to suggest he is either mid to high universal or very, very low multiversal. Not sure about hellboy. Gotta go read the wiki, I guess.

    • @TheDangerNoodle
      @TheDangerNoodle Před rokem +5

      Dante in DMC 1 is Complex Multiversal because he beats Nightmare, who is capable of lifting the entire Demon Realm, which is a total of 9 Dimensions. Apparently.
      Hes also got infinite speed bc he was able to outspeed Pluto, who was using literal time travel to try and get the upper hand on the Legendary Devil Hunter.
      Dante in DMC 2 one shots Argosax, who is stronger than Mundus, who is Universal.
      And those are DMC1 Feats. DMC 4 DT Nero would absolutely bully DMC 1 Dante.
      Its a wrap .

      @@TheDangerNoodle DMC1 Dante isn't Complex Multiversal, he's that stage when it's DMC5

    • @TheDangerNoodle
      @TheDangerNoodle Před rokem +2

      @@goopy95 No, he... literally is. DMC1 Dante beats Nightmare, who is capable of physically lifting and destroying the *entire* demon realm. The demon realm is 9D, and thats a low-ball number, ergo Mundus and Dante both would have to qualify as Complex Multiversal literally by definition. DMC 5 Dante is Hyperversal+
      The Demon World is actually stated to be infinite, with an infinite darkness that surrounds it and a never ending ocean within it, so it could be argued its even more than 9D, which makes Dante even stronger by beating Nightmare.
      In DMC1 we see Dante struggle against Mundus, whos biggest feat is the creation of universes, but in DMC 5 Before the Nightmare that gets retconned, and we're told that DMC3 Vergil *would have beaten Mundus* if he werent so exhausted from just fighting Arkham and Dante beforehand. This means the boys in 3 were Universal, and 10 years Later Dante should definetly be stronger than that lmao.
      So yeah, Complex-Multiversal in DMC1 Devil Trigger (or maybe its Sparda Devil Trigger, I dont remember)

    • @goopy95
      @goopy95 Před rokem +4

      @@TheDangerNoodle that could be probable and also don't forget to about the mobile game. The mobile game takes place after DMC3 and Dante defeated Pluto the first Demon King who threw his spear so hard it split the universe in two, human and demon realm. So you could be right about DMC3 Dante and Vergil being Universal+

    • @TheDangerNoodle
      @TheDangerNoodle Před rokem

      @@goopy95 Yeah, Before the Storm says “Vergil was wounded and exhausted after his battle with Dante, and the Demon King [Mundus] took advantage of this. If it werent for his injuries, he surely would have won.” And we see Mundus creating literal Universes in DMC1, so hes def Universal, meaninf the boys in DMC3 are damn strong.
      Not to mention Vergil has Beowulf, which is explicitly stated to channel the strength of a supernova into its basic punches and kicks, imagine what he could do with a fully charged strike in Devil Trigger.

      @inyalgaico1563 Před rokem +5

      Nero and the DMC characters scale to actual biblical threats with alot of dmc4 statements and implications to lore locations and such like how mundas actually kicking lucifer and serveral other angels out of their thrones in hell and the fallen angels refusing to fight back out of respect effort as they have other things to do
      Also nero and hellboy have more personality than Blade
      Blade is a very stoic archetype he doesnt really allow hellboy to express himself he would just say one liners and hellboy would say one liners but there woudnt be any dialogue chemistry

    • @TheDangerNoodle
      @TheDangerNoodle Před rokem

      Dante in DMC is Complex Multiversal with infinite speed feats, and only scales stronger and stronger from there, being about Hyperversal in his base form in DMC, up to Low Outerversal in Sin Devil Trigger.
      Then Nero bullies Vergil, who is Dante's express equal in pretty much every way, and is capable of physically shattering reality just by swinging his sword around, and has the strength of dying galaxies and shit in his basic punches and kicks.
