When I asked my friend Mike Fullerton how he got through BUDS he told me and animal will give into pain and run and hide a human can adapt and control it. I could only guess that’s true.
Wow, great answers to the Q&A. I'm certain at the level to qualify for BUDS, physically everyone can get through (unless they get injured). It's all about the mindset/focus/grit/determination to overcome and get through it and then be successful. Even if I would have been physically able, the lack of sleep would have gotten me early on! LOL. Gotta appreciate the warriors/leaders that make it through!

I didn't wrestle but I grew up, however, with a similar background as yours. Dad put a shovel in my hand at 13 first day out of class for summer digging wet sand for his big plumbing construction job that he was foreman. Memphis heat and humidity in June is no joke. Did that every summer through college even when I was playing baseball through high school and college. Dad would get my summer schedule and see all the night games. He'd then tell me I could work all day for him. Up at 0430, on site at 0630, knock off about 1730, quick bite of food, shower and off to baseball catching 9 innings. Taught me you can't quit and give your best. Prayed for rain in those summers I can tell you. Thanks for your great videos.

I've seen books and other media on SEAL training including other branches' tactical commandos, but you bring the mental part of it in a "real talk" way that is mostly absent from other sources. The recent death of a BUDS student from 'Hell Week' proves everything you say is true.

In your spare time you are managing to do what the JSOC brass couldn't do for 25+ years, solve the lack of diversity in the Special Forces. This is no easy task with all the internal cultural sociological problems in all branches of the Special Operations. Only to say this Jacob: 1) If you get serious and hustle this channel, with shorts and daily content blah blah blah you know how to do it, the channel would have a million subscribers in a year and would massively broaden your reach. 2) Substance is important. You mentioned Tony Robbins before spitting fire. Tony is a fairly silly man. I'm a sales professional and only want to listen to experienced and successful salesman and their war stories. Motivational guys don't concern me I'm trying to get to the next bracket. You have substance behind you, your early story first, then the Naval Academy, Seals and your struggles in the community, MBA school, you mentioned some pizza franchises, the MBA school, the coaching, and now your Amazon business. That's substance and that matters. Most of these development guys are hucksters and absolute frauds. They're looking to get a $500 pop out of someone and sign them up for 3 more classes at double the price. From what I've seen you've done most of your work for free. You've helped people from all races, creeds, religions, blah blah blah, that shit matter too! You could've easily tailored your work towards Blacks and other minorities and not been wrong. That 9th grade accountant story was special Jake. Jake, you're a business plan and a year from a billion dollar motivational business. I've read a 1000 sales books.
