  • NORTIV 8 Men's Leather Waterproof Hiking Boots Mid Ankle Trekking Mountaineering Outdoor Boots - amzn.to/3xvRNsB
    This is an unboxing and review of the Nortiv 8 men's leather hiking boots. These booots are inexpensive and can be found on Amazon for about $50. These are good looking solid boots. Despite being made of leather and being water proof they are surprisingly light and comfortable. I've been out hiking in these boots and have now transitioned these boots to being my knock around boots that I wear whenever I have a dirty job I need to do. The agility of these boots combined with their rugged construction and their affordable price makes them a great pair of thrasher boots.

    Nortiv 8 boots are just okay. I'd definitely spend the extra bucks and get some Merrell boots.

    How are these boots holding up for you? I am thinking about buying them but don't know how durable they would be

      I'm one winter in and they're holding up great. Haven't had the chance to do a lot of hiking in them yet. They've just been my everyday walking in the mud shoes. It rains a lot here and my kids play sports so I've been in some soggy muddy fields and they kept my feet nice and dry. I put on some wool socks and my feet are warm too. We'll see how they hold up once I hit the trails.

    Would these be Washington state approved summer and winter?

      Definitely Oregon state summer and winter tested. It's the end of soccer season for my kids and the rains have come, but my feet are still warm and dry as I'm slogging through wet muddy fields to stand in the rain and cheer them on.

    would these be good for cutting grass?

    • @Moretimethanmoney
      @Moretimethanmoney  Před 2 lety

      I don't see why not. I don't wear them to cut my grass because I have dogs and land mines, so I have a really old pair of boots I use just for yard work. But in a few years these boots will become my yard boots.

    are they comfortable?

    • @Moretimethanmoney
      @Moretimethanmoney  Před 2 lety +1

      I think they are very comfortable. Of course everything is relative. I wear these all the time during the day and I've used them a couple of times when I've gone camping. I haven't gone on a long hike yet. But when camping I've worn thick wool socks and my feet were comfortable. Even slipped and stepped in a lake last weekend. The waterproof is great, but in this instance it worked against me. Since my feet were completely submerged the water got inside of my shoe. My foot was wet all day. Despite that I was still comfortable and forgot my feet were wet until I took my shoes off at the end of the day. Pee Yew!

    can you say what size is for 30 cm length ??

    • @Moretimethanmoney
      @Moretimethanmoney  Před rokem +1

      It's difficult to determine the appropriate shoe size for someone with a 30cm foot without more information. Shoe sizes are typically based on both the length and width of the foot, as well as the specific measurements and shape of the foot.
      To find the right shoe size, it's important to measure your foot accurately and compare your measurements to a size chart. You can do this by standing on a piece of paper, tracing the outline of your foot, and then measuring the distance from the heel to the tip of the longest toe. It's also a good idea to try on several different sizes and styles of shoes to find the best fit.

      @@tubezv check out the size chart on the link to the Amazon ad in the description of the video. Also they have a size chart on their website as well. www.nortiv8shoes.com/products/hiker?kid=2661
      It looks like a size 12 is about 29cm.
