Gonna be honest here- I got into Binghamton right; but wasn’t really that interested initially. So I start searching up videos and all the campus is cool, but honestly thought being the best//one of the best public unis in new york it’d mainly academics and that’s about it. But thennnn, found your vids and some other folks. Love the energy! Can’t really visit campus because covid gg and virtual tours only show so much; so it’s really cool to get your perspective on things. Fast forward to now, I’m pretty much deciding between UB and Binghamton. As you’re an engineer major- reckon you know some comp sci folks possibly. Would be cool to know a bit about it from a student perspective.

I have just enrolled as a transfer student and I am so grateful for this video! I have not been able to see campus in person, but now I am that much more excited. If possible, can you show the apartments community? I think it is farther than everything else and would def love to see the other dining halls!

Apartment communities are really nice dorms, way nicer than others on campus. You just gotta get lucky with your room mates. There’s also no dining hall in apartment communities so your going to need to learn the shuttle system or use a car.

hi! i loved this video and the campus looks so nice :) i got accepted into the binghamton advantage program, so i would take classes at suny broome and live on binghamton's campus still for my first year. i won't have my driver's license by time fall starts so i'm worried for transportation. are there any school shuttles that go to broome? or is it only public buses?

Congratulations Amy! My son just got accepted into BAP too and yes, there are free buses that take you from the Binghamton campus to the Broome campus.

How do consider Binghamton for Computer Science between UB and Stony Brook?
For me, I liked the environment at bing a lot better than stony Brook, and UB was further from home than Bing was
What is the best freshman dorm?
That definitely comes down to preference, newing has mostly doubles and Dickinson and mountainview have suites :)
