I think this is an EXCELLENT use of available space. That bed is well executed, and much like an onion for it's mutliple uses. It's a bed, but it also houses the coffee table, which supports the end of it, but it's also drawer storage, and lift-up bed storage..... 10/10 for that.
Also, thanks for pointing out the incinerating toilet. It strikes me as much more "socially acceptable". "Oh yeah, it incinerates everything at 1,400 degrees." Much less squick factor for finicky suburbanites who don't like the idea of handling their own waste, however obliquely.

Wow! Living in a tiny house in Edmonton, Alberta! That’s amazing. It’s very cold in the winter in Edmonton. I think it was -40 Celsius (-40 Fahrenheit). I’m very impressed with this tiny house. I would need a bigger space but I love the design and I love that it is warm in the winter. Also great idea to have 3 ways to heat the home. Propane can freeze at low temperatures so I like that he can use wood or electric to heat as well. 👍👍👍

Nice floorplan. Great for a person who spends a ton of time away from home too. Security is a ton off a persons mind when they are first responders. Great organizational components. So, this gets a high 5 from me!

I've been suffering from back problems. As much as I loved the lofts in tiny houses, climbing to my bed was not an option. The slide out bed/ sofa looks amazing and a much better option for people like me or senior citizens! Thanks for posting!

I like the brick floor. It feels good and very refreshing on hot summer days. No need to change it; it just needs a warm rug winter time. Bricks also warm up when heat is on and keeps the warm after heat is turned off; it cools off slowly once it warmed up? Saves some dollars bill.

the brick floor is actualy great idea , i would use it with electric heat mats underneath, that are used for heating ceramic tile floors , the brick would then absorb the heat and slowly release it up :)

that tiny wood stove, so very cute. Good for when you are up and can feed it, otherwise, the other two heating options work better for sleep time. Always need lots of storage space. I am one that hates clutter. I think that would be the best way to go, spend more on the toilet because in the long run, its a nu fuss toilet !

5:10 Very smart move to put the bed under the kitchen and function as a couch. 6:15 Love this idea to get extra shoe space, it is also optimal because it is right by the door. 9:18 that's a very different toilet from most people, might be smarter even if it is more expensive

I actually have the same bed idea because I have dogs. He can put his pillows on the stationary couch/bench part and have extra space. Sort of makes it a long queen bed. Love it.

LOL firefighter poops in a burning toilet. great job. I'm from EU, like this house very much, reminds me of German/Netherlands approach. 3-source heating, just in case, to follow energy economics. Attention to detail is excellent. Big windows, much light. Every European architect would like to have you as fire inspector.
