The weird thing is - when I first watched the videos, then the movie, I didn't think Rami looked like Freddie although he came as close as one can, imo BUT - today while I'm watching I'm seeing more of Freddie even in Rami's eyes (especially side views).

Great, great movie! I read Sacha Baron Cohen almost played him but not only did he have a different take on the movie about just Freddie and not all of them, Brian and Roger thought he couldn’t take it seriously enough. Rami is better!

No they didn't. They should have made the actor not wash his hair for a few weeks. That was the worst part of the movie since it disrespected the folk who donated to Live Aid. They should have left it at Queen doing an amazing performance rather than claiming that they saved Live Aid financially.

Did Queen save Live Aid? - This is entirely debatable and subjective - but they didn't start at £0 as the film suggests, they were already clear of Geldof's £1 million goal - Queen's performance got people dipping further...

For all its inaccuracies this was a great movie. I was around in the 80s when Queen was really on top of the world. Sadly they really did not enter my consciousness until well after Freddie's passing. God, I wish I was born 15-20 years earlier (born Jan 80). In these past few years I find myself thinking back to my childhood and realize how much of it was wasted. So much regret. Damn, I just made myself depressed.
I want to know, did someone get credited as Spike Edney? I'm asking because I'm a severe sideman geek (Steve Cropper, Darryl Jones, Hugh McDonald, and the like), and his _keyboards_ were certainly in the movie.
