Couldn't agree more!!! I'm not singaporean but singapore airlines will always be close to my heart as well, also since i was little still to this day! :P always will be, singapore airlines are the best no matter what! :)
quite relaxing for a saftey demo
i travel alot on international carriers, and for me singapore airlines safety demo has to be the most relaxing and overall the best compared to anyother airline. and with thier amazing service DAMN im speechless >_
Best airline ever... I remember seeing that safety video about 5 times in the space of about a week when travelling between India, Hong Kong and Singapore when I was like 12 haha.. that was a goood holiday xD.
Thai and Singapore Airlines has Different Safety Videos because Thai just recently updated there safety video because they got the A340-500 in service now but they both Star Alliance Members
I love the music. It should be played in every airline during boarding of the aircraft.

Is it possible to get the original video somewhere? Compared to the other airline safety videos, this SQ one has a certain calm grace that could only come from an Asian airline...
I doubt it's an actual DVD with chapters. It's probably just the way the video was designed.

It's a great video, but I don't understand why people are inflating their life jackets before jumping onto the slide. During a ditching, you board the slide/rafts after inflating the vest...not jump into the water. And you shouldn't be wasting time to get your life jacket if it a land evacuation.

i flew malaysia airlines few months, it wasnt that great though. the food was appaling, the only thing they can cook is nasi lemak!! the staff is nowhere near SQ, let alone deserve the best flight attendants as they have claimed.

Actually Not so safe - I read that SQ subsidiary Tiger was banned from flying in Aus because of air safety breaches! Now thats a worry

SQ was once the best - then Emirates copied them and improved on the service. Now Etihad rule the skies on service - having improved upon Emirates!
As for worst in service - generally ALL the major US airlines - except South West
People brag about how this video is better than Thai's... I don't think so... The flight attendants aren't really that smiley and the music is similar to what you'd find in a cheap chinese restaurant... Not bad, but not great either IMHO!
