At first I was skeptical because I loved the music in the previous version of the video... but the music on this one is really nice too! Thanks for uploading this!
After flying with Canadian Airlines, WestJet, United, American Airlines, Royal Airlines and Canadian Forces passenger jets I would have to say Air Canada has the best safety videos and the most professional.
extreme make over aircrafts, are aircraft that we redoo, change completly the interior from the old green to the new blue colours and we add the thales on-demand screen.:)
i love Air Canada i am from Pei and Jir Canada Jazz is the only air line that really fly's in westjet does but come off season only 3 times a week Air Canada has always been there for me
@LordRedFred She says "Concerns". It's meaning is similar to questions. The second thing she says is "lighter". Lighter is the opposite of heavier, such as a feather is lighter than a brick. Glad I could help! :D
CGI makes perfect sense! I never thought of that... and wondered what aircraft it was... The config seems 2-4-2, which is only in the A330's...which were converted last... so it didn't make sense to me until now. Thanks!
Yeah it's so much better than when I went on AC in 2001 where it was so bad and there weren't private TVs and the cabins were so dim. Afterwards, I took Cathay pacific to get to Canada
They are now using this video on almost all of it's main aircraft. I flew on an Embraer 190 from Vancouver to Calgary and saw it there. It was also the flight that they lost my baggage and still haven't done anything about it.
From my own experiences and experiences of my friends "totally understand" is really pushing it. I grew up in Canada, went to French school, moved to France and finished Master's in France. I am able to speak both French varieties and I am fully aware of the differences. People who have not been exposed to Canadian French usually find themselves "not understanding" it. So basically imagining yourself being an American trying to understand a person from...Shefield. Same langauge, big difference!
is really nice video and nicely translation english and frence, i like this video. bye c'est tres joli ce video et tres joli le traduction anglais et francais. je l'aime ce video. ciao
What is spoken here is Standard Canadian French, like you hear on news broadcasts (especially Radio Canada). Believe it or not, there is French spoken outside of Québec. Us Franco-Ontariens, Acadiens, and the rest of the French Canadian population are never recognised (haha...)
In my opinion I think it's a great safety video and I'm glad there taking safety seriously. I find humour in safety videos to be a little intrusive, and it would make me feel uncomfortable as a passenger, when there making fun of safety.
Yes, you're right, "totally understand" is maybe pushing it, but I was speaking about the safety demo, which is absolutely easy to understand... I've been a few times in French Canada and I didn't feel lost. Words are sometimes not the sames but I understood. Nevertheless, I had to accustom to the accent, which is -you're right- quite special. Then it's not so difficult to understand... but that's my own point of view ! I can immagine that some people don't share it. (-:
That is true, I never fly Westjet because they don't have the great network that Air Canada has. I only usually fly to Greater Sudbury, Westjet used to fly there but not anymore. So that leaves Air Canada Jazz!
I much prefer Air Canada... more flights, better planes, bigger entertainment screens in the renovated aircraft. Service may not be as "fun" as WestJet (they sometimes tell jokes, but not too much any more it seems), but is not usually "bad." I fly about four trips a year, and fly Air Canada almost exclusvely...plus Aeroplan Miles are a bonus! Food (for purchase) is much better on AC as well.
All safety videos are essentially the same, they just say it's an Airbus A319 so they can show where the exits are located for that particular aircraft.
@AFA318 1) I love Air France (not SkyTeam however), 2) they're not striking anymore, and 3) Oh my god you will have bigger problems than strikes if you partner with WestJet.
Hi everyone, I'm not a native english speaker...can anyone explain me what the girl says at 0:48 "if you have any ***** , please let one of us know" and how she calls the hand baggage at 0:52 " for your confort and safety ******* baggage must be stowed". Thanks in advance! :)
No, that's wrong !! We both understand each other very well ! Nevertheless, Canadian franch speakers have a really strong (but lovely :-D ) accent... Actually, Canadian use sometimes words we don't use anymore in France. But we totally understand Canadian French speakers !
check there books. they opperate with money today for tickets and flights three months in advance. somethings gotta give.(oh oops routes that westjet have swiped.)they always run in a deficate.
OMG u gotta be kidding me they got rid of this video my home country grrr Air Canada if you are watching this video please get this back with the people now
At first I was skeptical because I loved the music in the previous version of the video... but the music on this one is really nice too! Thanks for uploading this!
Its always nice to see airline safety videos using real people, instead of the creepy animation figures that many are using now.
Awesome video. Looking for this updated version for a while now. Thanks!
best safety video around
This video is like the only thing I remember of my trip to Italy
Merci d'avoir choisi Air Canada, votre securité est notre priorité, nous vous souhaitons un agréable vol (= we wish you a very pleasant flight)
After flying with Canadian Airlines, WestJet, United, American Airlines, Royal Airlines and Canadian Forces passenger jets I would have to say Air Canada has the best safety videos and the most professional.
wow... amazing video! :)
thank you!
Love the Music and Video, my Favourite air safety vid.
oh my god...I cannot believe how many times I've seen this
extreme make over aircrafts, are aircraft that we redoo, change completly the interior from the old green to the new blue colours and we add the thales on-demand screen.:)
Great video
i remember when i saw it, at the very start there was a production signature for some reason, it was upstaits, or backdoor or something like that
i love Air Canada i am from Pei and Jir Canada Jazz is the only air line that really fly's in westjet does but come off season only 3 times a week Air Canada has always been there for me
I TOTALLY agree with this, I want to live there so much!!
yes there music in this video is relaxing
I just love this video; one of the best besides Delta and LAN

That man has a very discrete quebec accent, but since there are many accents in France, he's really easy to understand
It's an interesting video! It's the best safety video out there!
It was actually filmed inside an Embraer E175.. with a bit of CGI for the 'widebody' shots.
we still have to do it! Not all aircraft are equiped with safety video tapes, especially the aircrafts equipped with our new thales system.
i totally agree, it fells very cold
very good:D I saw the AIR CANADA JAZZ CRJ one too and its great:D
Air Canada is the best of the BEST!
And then immediately after that..
*ding* "Hello, this is your captain speaking.."
:)
yes we do but only the not XM aircraft, meanning the ones without the individual on-demand screens.

How did you upload this? I've waited for this for at least 3 years!!!
It's a mock up cabin using ERJ seats
is really nice video and nicely translation english and frence, i like this video.

c'est tres joli ce video et tres joli le traduction anglais et francais. je l'aime ce video.

@TDOTWAVE agree i like the music in this video
whent on it to vancover saw safty video and i just relexed IT WAS SO FRAKING RELEXING
he says Nous Vous the two of them it means we hope u have a good flight
It makes me feel like I'm on a plane now! Even thought I'm in class! LOL
"In the unlikely event that we lose your luggage for no reason, don't worry. It's just a baggage."
😂 believe it or not that actually came true air Canada is currently losing everyones luggage
I believe that they use this safety video also on flights that use the Boeing 767 200/300ER
this new air canada video only came on at the end of 2006:)
wow....
world class wel done air canada!!
It's well done!
I just got my first cellphone a few months ago, and I dunno what to put as the background...maybe I'll just put that no smoking sign!
I love the video. I think this is better than an airline I went on, the Skyservice safety video was a little bad, it has stick people in 3d
comme tu dire en canada merci et Thank you!!
I agree!!
can someone loop the music at the start? it is such a catchy tune.
What is spoken here is Standard Canadian French, like you hear on news broadcasts (especially Radio Canada). Believe it or not, there is French spoken outside of Québec. Us Franco-Ontariens, Acadiens, and the rest of the French Canadian population are never recognised (haha...)
FYI its been voted best airline in north america like 3 times in a row
ACA!!!
usually which routes does A319 planes with the english and french versions of the video fly?
In my opinion I think it's a great safety video and I'm glad there taking safety seriously. I find humour in safety videos to be a little intrusive, and it would make me feel uncomfortable as a passenger, when there making fun of safety.
Its a nice video but its missing the warm, welcoming feeling you get on the old one

I have been on this aircraft (Toronto pearson airport - Barbados) even thought we had screens on the seats this safety video was not shown? :L
asw the air canada jazz crj video? where is it?
liked the idea of the kid at the begging throeing the Airplne, but other than that this video could use a little more spicing up like Deltas video.
How come safety vids from Star alliance members are so better?
NO!
inside it's a 763. the 763 is the only AC aircraft that has a 2-3-2 layout.
czhangzodo: I agree, especially with the woman's slightly stern voice.
I prefer the old one.
FLY - AIR CANADA - FLY
I'm going to Ottawa in March from Vancouver. But I'm not sure wich airline to fly. Whats air canada like??? please respond.
They have an award for that? Tell me more!
i took this airline to go to vancover to go on the disney cruise the saftey lestuel is cool
yes i also agree:)
+1 !!
air canada jazz crj safety video? where is it?
777 got 2-3-2 configuration seats, the vid shows a 2-4-2 config.
its on the crj 705 only
AC still uses this.
Can anybody explain to me the differences between Quebec French and France/other varieties of French? Merci
AC finally had private TV's?
that women sounds like the Microsoft error voices.

I went to air canada
is the aircraft a 767?

@flightsim89 Certainly the most through.
I see this woman does not like to show emotion.
Hasnt it be shot on a 767? Look at the windows
@zigzagcatzanddogz sounds perfectly fine to me
CANADA!! is the best country in the world.
I love air canada I flu on it to Orlando

but Balls to you for speaking your mind lol
i prefer the air france safety vid.....
westjet is awesome. and you better start waving to air canada because they wont be around much longer.
@flightsim89 watch the new delta and tell me the same
This new safety video is very colourful (Air Canada does this well), however I dislike the woman's voice immensely.
I speak French & English so I understand what their saying... But it is annoying hearing it twice
Air Canada is better than American Airlines THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE! :D
