Hey buddy 60 year old from Kansas here, anyway I haven't watched it yet but I love the fact that you're going down this Lucy Thomas rabbit hole. It started for me about a year ago but I've been a musician my whole life and this is not the kind of music I would have ever listen to Growing Up but she makes it magical. I'm glad you're doing this stuff.
Listening this once for the first time, it’s amazing and a wonderful song. Strangely for many listen it more and it becomes more powerful and more intense, making it the best rendition out there. But what you should note is these are 2 young English girls, Martha aged 12. 😲 Both singing in both English and Italian, swapping vice versa and mixing both languages, fantastic harmonies, and a superb performance to better all. 🤯 Just an incredible performance.
I agree , it's gotta be way harder than what they make it look . Singing like this is an art . But they got it down pat ..
Scott the context of this song Martha is 12 years old, yes 12 !!!! She is sitting on a stool to get up to Lucy who is standing, and yes those young ladies can SING !!! No vocal gymnastics just to be different just flat out STUNNING singing !!! Best version ever !!! Thanks for the react and welcome aboard the Lucy/Martha train. it is a heck of a ride !!!

Hi ya - thank you for reacting to so many videos of Lucy and Lucy & Martha. Martha is 5 years and 8 months younger than Lucy. They have 9 duets on the 'Lucy Thomas' Music' CZcams channel. If you like xmas songs, check out 'Mary Did You Know' and 'O Holy Night' - incredible harmonies. Also 'Smile' which also includes their Mum, Louise'. Please keep them coming - I have been following Lucy for a couple years since she captured me with those incredible blue eyes. My first hearing of those incredible sisters was "you raise me up" and i had goosebumbs all over..those voices...such beautiful harmonies....since that I'm totaly in love with both girls singing❤🎉❤🎉
These two Ladies together are amazing. I’ve been told that Martha was sitting on a high stool to get her closer to the mic. Yes I believe you should listen to “Mary Did You Know” cover by both of them. Also Lucy’s cover of “Evergreen” (from the movie “A Star is Born” by Barbra Streisand). Lucys cover is better than the original. I can’t describe perfect anymore I have ran out of adjectives for Lucy and Martha. I have subscribed to your channel. Another nice reaction for Lucy and Martha. Martha is 6 yrs younger than Lucy but her Voice is developing just as good, whether she carries on singing is another thing though as her main passion is her horse Cloud on whom she has won several Equestrian competitions. Cloud also features on a couple of their Duets a cover of Miley Cyrus's The Climb in which she is in the field behind them and also on their cover of It's a Wonderful World where Lucy's dog is also featured.
