- For over 7 years, 128³ Deep Fear has remained the hardest fullspeed track in Trackmania Nations Forever. The sheer difficulty of the track has tempted many of the best players to try to complete it, and to eventually speedrun it for a perfect completion.

Man this run seriously deserved a main channel video. Mudda earned the shit out of it.
Yes he deserves a 2nd channel video from Wirtual
Edit: just waiting for someone to call me an NPC for saying this joke
Yeah
@@ImnotZaz3nno idea why but if you want: You're an NPC for saying this joke.
@@Eteokles81 alright now since that's out of the way
@@Eteokles81 its a bit of a meme bc this is the main channel, but it so rarely receives uploads people started calliing it 2nd channel
The fact that Wirtual's 13 hour run was still 4th on the leaderboard for so long proves how insane this map is to even finish at all
The crazy part is he's 1 of only 6 finishers according to the tmnf-x leaderboard (5th) so he was probably right in terms of those numbers, they sort off add up to the history of replays as well!@@NotNotMemes
@@NotNotMemesno it says 4th place
He included 4th, rather than just the top 3, for reference - but he didn't boost his time at all, he was the genuine 4th place, it was just that mental@@NotNotMemes
@@indatgodiIt says 4th place in that part of the video because at that time he was 4th, later on, 2 more people finished the map, and one beat him, that's why now he's 5th
You mean the 13h13m13s run* =P
Imagine being so fast that you have to slow down for a full speed track. What a legend.
He made it not a fullspeed track
Yeah get facts strraight
I find it very poetic is that on his last run, the run where he gets his 9:59, he starts the run saying once deep fear is done he's "never playing TMF ever again for any reason." He spent years working on that goal and at that moment he had no idea he would be playing it for the last 9:59 seconds for the rest of his life.
I totally got the same thing. Like the universe was trying to get him to say that before he got it. That to me is the reason for the bug at the finish before. I cry everytime he gets the last jump to the finish. It's the most poetic thing i saw in gaming ever
he didn't actually stop playing lol
@@paul1234730 I thought the premise was him stopping playing TMNF specifically not TM.
im pretty sure he will come back. and if its only for the lolz. midway through the video i thought: "wow this guy must know this map as good as i know q3dm6". q3dm6 is a map from quake3 and i still go there every other year or so to have a bit of fun. although i cant move around it as i was able to do 20 something years i still have some fun. but then i leave it until i come back again. same will go for mudda, he will go back.
rail jump = chef's kiss
The fact the map creator spent 500 hours to make the perfect map is one of the incredible aspects to the story
and the fact mudda perfected it and ended up having to slow down is insane
@@PAYDAYTutorialsI feel like this is really cool but like doesn’t feel a little sad, without the video you wouldn’t ever know about this record and in a few years, literally years of this guys life will be forgotten and I feel like it was just a huge waste
@@admin666thegoat8 The destination is not the destination, they journey is the destination... Or something like that. Anyway, Mudda is a professional TM player, this practice has probably not been a waste. It also definitely helped build the hype around him.

@@filipcamerman3473I heard MoistCritikal mention Summoning Salts, but haven’t seen any vids, I’ll check them out!
Never forget the fact that when the sub 10 minutes TAS run was released for 128³ Deep Fear when Mudda saw it he said it made him feel discouraged to continue the hunt for sub 10 because of the amount of perfection needed and the amount of microadjustment required to get the perfect small speed slides at every turn and reducing air time to absolute minimum on every drop was just simply impossible to be done by a human and YET he did it anyway. What a legend!

I agree
Bro you're such a master at storytelling. You teach the most important parts of the run and make it understandable to everyone. You have an amazing rythm and flow of narration and race footage. And you of course delivered the "this run" with first the silence and focus, and then the iconic music with the climax of the run. Bro that was beautiful. absolute gem of a video thank you so much for it
I found myself cheering him on even though I knew he done it, and was happy when he crossed finish... what a great achievement...
Love the decision not to have any music playing during the world record run until the very end. The silence made it much more tense. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest.
i agree, it was great, although for me it was more soothing. just the sound of the track and the car. targeted silence can do wonders sometimes.
bro its so fast, wtf was he on?
high off flow state holy fucking shit it's so unbelievably fast, im beffudled
glazing here is insane man
I wasnt really that stressed. When Wirtual said "He finally got this run", I knew it was a wrap
I'm glad you put the (almost) complete footage of his final run and not just his reaction. It was really impressive to watch
wtf are you on about? He SHOULD have only shown the last min+reaction and link Mudda's own video on it so people can watch it there. 800hrs of grind for a little bit of exposure isn't worth the hundreds if not thousands of dollars he could make if most people who watched this video went to watch the full run on muddas channel
@@tipilot3791I mean, yeah, but the people who were gonna watch the video anyway likely have already seen it, I know I’ve already watched the video

the expression, emotion, and pure joy from Mudda when he got the run was so, so heartwarming to see. Love you Wirtual for covering this, and massive love to Mudda for his INSANE dedication and commitment to such an outlandish achievement
you could make a robot cry seeing so much emotion
The mapper put so much work into making the map, and Mudda poured his heart and soul into an absolutely stunning run. Thank you for making this video, Wirtual and zero, to showcase this incredible accomplishment.
I hell of missed these docu-videos from you. Back when you showed Deep Fear, I thought it was amazing when people completed it with any kind of decent time. This, this is something else.
with any decent time? Bro only 6 people ever finished that track. It's amazing anyone has finished it at all. The fact that Mudda got it under 10 minutes is just absurd. There are no words that can describe this dedication.
@@ErnieZee Completing it is difficult but possible, and an achievement in its own right. I'm not undermining that.
We are saying the same thing. Lol. People completed it in under 20 minutes, that's a decent time and something amazing. Absurd in its own right. Like I said, this is something else. It's not real other than the fact that Mudda actually did it.
(PS if you're hung up on the use of "decent", I'm using it very literally)
This is by far the best achievement done in the fullspeed community, but even more so, it is probably the best ever done in Trackmania as a whole!

its never too late to jump back in
@@reeseferrell2731 true, but it's very hard to compete against kids and young people that generally have many more hours in the day to dedicate to grinding. No hate tho, I was also one of those kids back in the day, and also a regular winner of many TMNF fullspeed multiplayer sessions. But those days are gone with adult responsibilities, not to mention there's very little reward in it beyond satisfying the ego I guess. Unless you're a successful content creator like wirtual and/or literally one of the best in the world like mudda. But I respect everyone that dedicates themselves to the grind. It is brutal.
idk if thats really true, Wirtual once showed the google trends for Trackmania and the name Trackmania has now only a 10th of the reputition as back than. its kinda weird that even after all the Videos streams and Tournaments and the growth of the Internet as a whole Trackmania hasnt catched up with the reputition from like 10-15 Years ago. (i dont know if reputition is the right word but i think you all get what i try to say)
Same dude! I had a world record for a small bit on a 8s track and I was so happy. Also got like top 300 and top 10 in my country.
lmao, you also have to be good at it and be interesting. I was playing this 15-16 years ago but I was shit :D
I watched every stream of him grinding deep fear. The feeling when he got the run, even when just witnessing it as a spectator was incredible
Obviously... After 800 hours of watching someone doing the same thing over and over I would also be happy to finally see something else.
i'm jealous, seeing that happen in real time must've been spectacular
another amazing video. this record definitely deserved its story to be told, keep doing what you're doing, Wirtual, great work.
Thank you Wirtual for making a video like this and giving him the spotlight he deserves. Not only will his record last but now there is a video that portrays how much work this took. I don't play the game but appreciate the detail and attention you show it and the community around it.
As a professional alpine ski racer who has spent years trying to perfect my skiing and always feeling like it’s so out of reach I’m always in awe of people who can truly achieve the highest level and make it look so effortless in the process. I hope to someday be able to compete like that but for now I have to fight for everything and work my ass off until I can be the best. There is no formula for it and this kind of mastery that Muda shows is from sheer time, dedication, and skill. Truly an impressive feat and something to inspire others to strive for that type of mastery.
