Why do I love this genre of music and dance so much? It was written for me. My soul beats to this tempo - lively, hoppy, in constant motion, with light precise footwork and fluid arms.
This dancer is superb! Moves in perfect rhythm to the music. Must have taken years of practice. I hope I can be that good someday!

This is how it's done. Lots of people dancing in this style don't quite know what to do with their arms, but your arms perfectly complement your steps and it just looks like you are floating, on top of the world and full of joy. Absolutely lovely work!

Took me a minute or two to lock my brain on to what she was doing. This shows the difference between black and white films from the 1920s to the 2020s! She does this very well!
Reminds me of some of the musical numbers in old movies. Dance of that era was an art form. She captured the essence beautifully!

As of a few days ago, I stumbled upon electro swing. This music has influenced my life in such positive and wonderful ways. I love the dance styles to the music. Such style and creativity. Let's bring this back and make it more apart of our lives. An awesome art form !

My favorites are pretty much anything by Parov Stelar, with some tops being Catgroove, The Phantom, Chambermaid Swing, and Mojo's Radio Gang. The dude basically laid the groundwork for the genre, so you'll see his name in nearly every mix anyway, but with good reason.
Then there's Caravan Palace's "Dramophone", Charlie Puth's "Betty Boop", and Yolando Be Cool's "We No Speak Americano" for some variety of styles
