I think saying this team is stacked is a disservice to this team, brad stevens and joe mazzula. The reason this team is winning over similarly stacked teams like the bucks, clippers, suns, etc is:
1. brad actually put together a roster that fits and compliments each other. Not necessarily just put a bunch of stars together like phoenix.
2. joe mazzula actually got the guys focused and buying in to his system.
3. The celtics main guys are sacrificing for the betterment of the team.
lets not act like the celtics have the most loaded roster in the nba. They just have the best team where the sum of the parts is better than the individuals.

@@backyardbuckets829 yup. nets, philly, clippers, suns, the derozan/lavine/vucevic bulls, ... Lots of loaded teams fail because the parts dont fit. Or they fit but only play 1 side of the ball (typically offense). This celtics team works because the parts fit. on both sides.

Now we just have to play our cards right in the playoffs; also, Tatum and Brown are known to get doubled and tripled in the playoffs and can blow by a bad defender, but with Porzingis Jrue Derrick Hauser Pritchard, it will be interesting because they can shoot the ball well no more Marcus Smart now as playoffs start. But as they keep saying, the only thing beating the Celtics is themselves

To be honest if you start comparing individually, alot of other teams have more loaded rosters than the celtics. Especially offensively. Joe simply gets more out of his guys than other coaches get out of theirs. And the celtics players fit together. Otherwise, why dont the celtics have more than 2 all-stars and would be talked about more in the end of season awards. as it stands now, this historic team probably only gets 3 awards: JT makes all-nba (might not even be 1st team), one of white or jrue makes all def and Brad may get executive of the year. And people are acting like we're stacked with top tier stars. Tatum cant even get on the top 5 for MVP. so why is a team that doesnt have alot of representation in alot of awards are dominating the league? brad's work, joe's work and everyone's sacrifice.
I feel the celtics will get their respect after they win the chip. And there will be alot of "retroactive" awards. Like joe winning coach of the year next year.

Yeah I think KP staying healthy is the key to banner 18. He’s been a huge factor for us this season. I hope we can do more than just #18. I’d love to see a 3-peat from this team. Shut all the haters up. lol.
People point to our bench as being a weakness but I do not see it that way this year. Hauser has improved in several respects in his game and is top ten in 3 Pt % shotting. Pritchard has had some really good games based on expanded playing time and building in confidence. Al H. can still ball and has been there to pick up the slack during KP injuries . I also think we are getting as much out of Luke K. as possible,, as he is contributing. I am fine with this bench.

A lot of people want to look the other way and pretend that this team is not putting historic numbers. I honestly think they will win this time around. A lot of people will look back saying “The Celtics showed us what they were about to do, but we didn’t want to see it” 😆🤣
Denver worries me because Boston doesn't have an answer for Jokic and because I trust Denver's crunch time offense more, but thats the only team I think has a shot.

If he’s making them it’s fine. But when’s he’s not making them he shouldn’t keep chucking them up and start driving because there’s a small handful of players who can genuinely stop him when he is driving
Major problem is the last quarter it is always catastrophic, furthermore nuggets could challenge Celtics but if they deal with Jovic I think it is done

Jaylen Brown is the Celtics worst 3 point shooter this year out of their guys who actually take shots. Isn’t that insane? Because he is actually like a good freaking shooter. His last couple of years he has dipped down to 35 percent, but he makes over 2 a game, has made as many as 10 in a game in his career, and this year he made I think 7 in the first half Vs the wizards and had a handful of other games with 5 3s lol. He also shot over 40 percent during a couple runs to the conference finals. Shot 40 during an entire season. Is like 37for his career on solid good volume.
And he’s their worst 3 point shooter lol. That dude can jab you and pull up from 26 feet like it’s nothing lol. Wtf.

Boston has won absolutely NOTHING yet! I've been a Boston Celtics fan since 1970! For the past 3 seasons, it seems like they run out of fuel.
They’ve done great with rest this year though that we haven’t seen before, it seems like every game someone is out for rest, joe has them on a great schedule and rotation ngl

I've already seen enough of these videos how Boston is gonna win it all blah blah blah. No they aren't. I don't how people don't understand or just don't want to understand that these guys are a very high volume 3 point shooting team which means they're biggest factor is luck. Anything can happen especially in the playoffs where teams actually play defense. Let's say they have 3 bad shooting nights and lose 3 games in a series and they have 1 mediocre shooting night which top contenders will probably capitalize on and there you go they're out of the playoffs. That's why the James Harden and Chris Paul rockets never made it to the Finals. The missed 19 threes in a row in game 7 against Golden State in 2018. The same could happen to these guys. And then add the factor of choking (Jason Tatum and sometimes Jaylen Brown) and they're cooked. And not to mention they are playing against the weakest eastern conference in the last decade or so. I'm not surprised that their net rating is that high. I personally don't think they stand a chance against the Clipper or Denver out west. Both teams have better coaching and I think Denver has a better starting five because no one has an ego. Tatum's ego is probably what's gonna destroy Boston.
You clearly are a celtics hater. Yes they shoot alot of 3s but they are also a top 3 post up team and a top 2 defensive team which is different from the rockets teams you reference. They also have porzingis who is the most efficient post up player in the NBA. if theres a rockets team that these celtics resemble its the Olajuwon rockets. Just like that team, this team has Sam Cassell. You know what that team did? Win a chip.
Oh and you do know the celtics lead the league in beating teams while shooting less than 33% from 3 right? Watch the philly game. They win more than most despite bad shooting nights.
Boston famously has no ego either like denver and they've already beaten the clippers. You can call out the clutchness of tatum and brown all you want but keep in mind jrue, porzingis and one of the highest clutch ratings in the nba, derrick white, is also on that team. This isnt a heliocentric team like lukas mavs. Its a real TEAM like the spurs teams of old or the ben wallace pistons.
Sounds to me you just want to hate on them instead of giving them due respect that they're historically good. As mentioned in that vid, certain Spurs teams which werent this good are admired with reverence. What do you think the narrative will be once this boston team wins the chip?
Guess what? They're 12th in paint scoring since the allstar break. There's a reason they're 9 points per 100 possessions better on offense than the 2nd best team since the allstar break. That isn't an accident.
