I swear this game will feel just like any other ubisoft game. The movement and its mechanics are going to be almost identical to The Division or the Ghost recon series.

I don't mind having a fixed character, making the story about someone. I didn't like Cal Kestis until I started playing the games. But if they make a fixed character with a linear story, they should do it properly.

Fr even when an open-world game has a pretty likable, everyman main character, I kind of still wish there was a character creator... It just goes hand-in-hand with open-world games. The whole point of open world is doiong what you want, exploring where you want, forging your own path instead of a linear level by level thing. Having the character be _my_ character that I made adds so much to that sense of immersion. Tbh I don't think I've ever liked an open world game without a character creator except for RDR2

Sounds and looks amazing I just hope that combat makes up for giving up the ability to be a Jedi with a light saber, I’m praying this is better than the last two games, and I thought even with the issues the last two games were a lot of fun

From what i read, the ones who worked on the Division also worked on this as well. So thats probably why
Massive made the world design for this and division. Talented crew. Too bad bout the character though. Have zero interest because of her. I never have liked playing females.

I'm also from the future: this game flopped massively by selling well under expectations following a quite inflated budget.
Now all we need is a star wars outlaws sized and graphics style game but with Jedi and Sith and not tied down to being Jedi like in the Survivor games with Cal .. or we need to make Disney finish the Kotor Remakes..
They also massively dropped the thermal detonator in terms of missed content in form of a collectors edition with special stuff

I have 3 feelings, 1) its something new to the star wars game genre, but more so 2) i think a few hours in im going to miss having badass powers and sick combat and 3) this should have a character creation in it. Just an opinion.
About 20% of this is actual gameplay...can't say I have high hopes.

This game could be fun. She looks half alien and half human. The ending could be absolutely phenomenal. Well, I’m not gonna preorder it to find out though. I’ll let others do it and wait till it’s a few months to get it cheaper if it’s half the worth. Or better yet, if it goes on PSPlus for free.

"star wars 1313", so why the hell won't they uncanceled it and release it?
Disney bought Lucasfilm which owned LucasArts which was developing 1313. Disney never had plans for making the game itself and was looking to license other publishers to continue the star wars games LucasArts was making(possibly). But later they laid off the whole studio anyways. So the original team, which was the one most interested in making the game, was gone. They would go their own ways and end up in different places.
This could have been so epic as multi-player.. A destiny killer.. For star wars fans

You are the type to resort to relativism any chance you get and claim that eating at a fast food restaurant is no worse than eating in a reputable restaurant. That's when people lose common sense and humanity. We are capable as a whole to do a lot better, so don't set the bar low for everything and call it a day otherwise you will end up with what humanity can do worse.

Rip 1313 i wish we could have seen young Boba's story come to fruition but I'll take this, Kay has that umph
The only cool thing about this was ND5 it'd make sense for Commando Droids to be used after the Clone Wars since they're pretty good at infiltration and assassinations.

I’m a huge Star Wars fan but idk how I feel about this. Maybe it’s because I’m use to Jedi related games but I’m going to give it a chance. I enjoyed Battlefront 2. It had a good story.
Nah, I think it's because you're used to better protagonists and stories rather than just wow-factor graphics with zero soul and respect for the old ways.

It all depends on how repetitive it is, verity of the missions etc and of course, how good or poorly it plays.

Also most people love Star Wars and everybody plays open world games these days where you can choose who you want to be. So why is Outlaws like this?

It's the "Snowdrop" - Engine from Massive Entertainment (in-house engine).
Its a tough one, I think the "Watching grass grow simulator" game might be better.

So far i am excited but hopefully there is a crafting system to tune weapons and buy additions for your ship like to save contraband I am scared to preorder as we know ubisoft can delay games for years like skull & bones.

You do the main questline in 15 hours then move on because going for the 100% is absolutely useless with their games unless you are into masochism.

Ubisoft games typically get heavily discounted within the next year to two years after launch, including editions with dlc included. So i'd say if you DO want to play this game, just wait a while and get a better overall deal in the end. I'm a SW fan so obviously i have interest in this game, but it's Ubisoft we're talking about.
On the release day with Ubisoft you can get it for an insane deal if you pirate their games because f*** Ubisoft.
To be honest the visual fidelity, overall, is really good. And the sound design is also good.
However, I cannot shake off that "uncanny valley" due to stiff, muppet-style facial animations (and stiff expressions), along with some weird head movements on the human characters (not just the main one, but in this video that female Imperial as well, same problem). It looks like a very high visual fidelity game marred by Bethesda-level NPC faces, it's very distracting. But everything else does look pretty good.

If the game really has space travel, dog fights in space and worlds to travel and explore. Then I'm probably going to get the game.
The character is hella ugly but I can look past that if the game play is solid and there is humour in the mainstrory.
I never was a Star wars fan. The originals and the subsequent releases in the movies and shows did nothing for me so I don't really care for its lore. I just want the Lazer guns, space travel, exploration and I want it at 60fps on the ps5
