Lyrics:
Down in the deep,
Where the dragon used to sleep,
Glorious gold,
Glimmers in our home of old,
Dark as the night,
Where the day has lost its light,
When the hammer falls.
When the hammer falls,
And it sounds through the halls,
When the hammer falls,
Freeing treasures from the walls,
When the hammer strikes,
And the kingdom comes to life,
When the hammer pounds,
Like the thunder underground,
When the hammer falls,
When the hammer falls!
Of legend and myth,
Is the craft of the smith,
The molten metal poured,
And pounded into sword,
From the fire is made,
Every Dwarven axe and blade,
When the hammer falls.
When the hammer falls,
Forging weapons for all,
When the hammer falls,
Songs of battle fill the halls,
When the hammer flies,
Lines of armored Dwarves arise,
With the hammer’s roar
We go marching off to war!
When the hammer falls,
When the hammer falls!
The orcs came to our land,
And we fought them hand to hand.
Sweat and blood,
Turned the ground to mud,
Dwarf and Orc in strife,
Sought to vanquish every life,
When the hammer falls.
When the hammer falls,
Back our enemy crawls
When the hammer quakes,
Orcish cowards’ bones will break,
When the hammer cracks,
And it beats their armies back,
When the hammer’s boom,
Sends the monsters to their doom,
When the hammer falls,
When the hammer falls!
When the hammer falls,
Then our victory calls,
When the hammer falls,
Songs of glory fill the halls,
When the hammer flies,
Mighty heroes now arise,
With the hammer’s sound,
Live the Dwarves down underground,
When the hammer falls,
When the hammer falls! - Hudba

😍😍😍😍😍
Please make more like this one it's the best
This video has more likes than the real song. That's weird
"Why do dwarves use axes? They live underground"
"Elves live in trees :)"
Hahahaha good one!
Whenever the dwarven army passes by trees they can gather wood because they dont grow in caves so they cant be rich with wood
Elves have wood at home
Although battle axes arent the best for wood cutting some still can
aan actually realistic answer for that might be the following:
while the most often used tools of dwarven folk may be hammer and pickeaxe, this means that most dwarven people are familiar with the concept of blunt weapons and how to handle them
and while an axe can (depending on its specific fit) fulfill the roles of both a pickaxe and a hammer reasonable well as a weapon, none of the other two tools can fulfill the role of an axe in battle.
so in conclusion: (almost) all dwarven folk know how to use blunt weapons, and an axe is the most versatile and easiest to learn of these for combat purposes
Yes😂
I'm envisioning the scene. 20 dwarves had one to many ales and stumbled into lothlorian and started cursing at the elves while chopping at the trees.
Say what you want about the hobbit movies, but they have some kickass dwarf scenes.
Don't get me wrong I love the lotr and hobbit movies, but with the hobbit they could have done a little better
@@knightrogue5959 Peter Jackson wanted to to be either a long single film or two short-ish films.
The company he worked with forced a trilogy so he had to make up many of the scenes.
This is contrast with LOTR where he wanted 4 to 5 films due to the fact he had to cut out so much of the book’s scenes.
@@lordbonney9779 don't get me wrong I love the extension version, but their were a few things that should not have been, Azog should have died, bolg should have taken his place, also they could have added a few more little things. But other then that it is by far one of my favorite movies.
That's why I watch it because of the Dwarfs XD
@@Tazara_Soup there is just something about legions or ironfoot warriors carrying shields in perfwct rows being lead by a dwarf lord on a hog that just satisfies me

Damn, Gmili was right on that account.

Orcs :- You are heavily outnumbered .
Dwarves :- And you are heavily outpowered .
Never enough. Armur and weight that is!!!
The Elves: that's so bold coming from an Orc within our bow range and dwarven axe range
Aw hellll yeah
Orcs: yer outnumbered
Dwarves: and you're outclassed *war horns sounds*
Orcish Earthbenders: You're clearly outnumbered
Dwarven Uncle Iroh: And you are clearly outmatched. *Send in the goats!*
The dwarves are like honey badgers. Maybe small in stature but ferocious, tenacious, ingenious, and will face anything head on.
They believe in equality because they are 100% affiliated
Not to mention deadly sprinters over short distances
Exactly they are small in size but fearless by nature
Wolverines too are very much like dwarves.
As a Dwarven player, watching Dain just wreck shit is so very satisfying.

I want to make this clear. Dwarves have always been a favorite of mine in fantasy. From there reputation of being world class craftsmen, to there battle hardy nature. I loved them. But it was LOTR and it's music that made me decided to make my next character in D&D be a dwarf fighter. I love dwarves, and I always will.
You my friend need to play the game drg. It is literally nothing but dwarves creating better and better weapons In order to kill giant bugs.
@@hansendavis3742 send me a link. 'll check it out.
I love dwarves too but in DND I find dragonborn wood elf and half elf are the best because I like paladin cleric warlock and druid and therefore I like the ones with boosts to strength wisdom and or charisma, I mainly use dwarf for a hill dwarf druid, which is a pretty good species and the con and toughness is better than the wood elfs boost to dex but the wood elfs stealth thing is better than the dwarf ones tbh.
@@Feanor6450 My top races are dwarf, dragonborn, elf,and Teifling.
I also love the dwarves, dispite the fact I'm a giant I can somehow relate to their crafty and hardy nature

Dwarves weren't useless to war,
But Strong, Brave and Mighty.

Yeah
The jinn or the alpha is stronger
They call him Dain Ironfoot, but they should call him Dain Hammerhead.
What is he a shark or a dwarf lol but true messing with him would be basically just as crazy as messing with an angry aggressive shark
What many audiences do not realize is that Tolkien's dwarves are not from Disney's Snow White
or any fairy tale, but the dwarves from Viking myth who made Thor's Hammer., a proud symbol
of warriors and working men alike. JT

Dain is by far my favorite of the dwarves.
Just don't forget gimili
I just used this song in my d&d campaign, after the party did a speech to try and convince the Dwarves in the kingdom they were in to rally with them to fight against a dragon that had settled in their lands.
The party managed to roll a 28 and a 30 in 5e, by stacking some buffs (guidance, and psi-bolstered knack), and the result was the dwarves started singing this song as they got to work forging weapons and armor for them to join the party in battle against this dragon
the party loved it. they kept talking about how they had massive grins and couldn't stop fighting. genuinely one of the best sessions ive had in a long time, and this song was a major part of having it happen :D
Not gonna lie i plan on using it as well in one of my sessions this and hammerdeep
You did an amazing job in this video! I can't get enough of Dain's hammer matching the end of the song, it just fits so perfectly!
All that editing was worth it!
@@miju24 darn right it was! The forge at the beginning was on point as well.
yeah thats my favourite bit.
I love Dain so much, every version of him, book and film
The problem with the Hobbit movies is that there were huge expectations from the Lord of the Rings movies, and that they were rushed. The studio pushing was INTENSE.
Not to mention the limited amount of material to work with due to the Studio also wanting 3 films from a rather short story and the fact Jackson was burnt out.
It turned out amazing nonetheless

Every setting I've played/seen/read dwarves have always been my favorite. Why would you choose to be a lanky salad eating leaf lover living in the forest when you could be a hardy bearded badass living in a massive mountain castle and throwing mad feasts of meat and beer. Rock & Stone (and hammer) for life.
So true
The dawi stand ready with powder and steel. No vile creature be it chaos or urks ever manage to break the pure stubbornness and will of our mighty Throng. We drink and feast to the dawi of Warhammer and their ingenious technology while honoring tradition. We drink to the dwarves that ally against the darkness of Middle earth. We drink to the Dwarves that surpassed our space and continue finding fortune across the stars! And we drink to those who have yet to be the torchbearers for the next great kings of our proud race!

Dwarves in all of the Fantasy Genres always get dealt such a bad hand and die in the end but damn do they give what ever is coming for their blood a good hammering and took some of them with them.
Each Dwarf is equal to like 10 Men due to his will to fight and never surrender. They're willing to die for their family and their kingdom regardless of how outnumbered they are.
