- The Scary Truth About Liverpool That Nobody Is Noticing
In October 2015, Jurgen Klopp took over a pretty dysfunctional Liverpool side, and in a few years, he somehow turned them into real world beaters and restored them to past glory. But that was years ago. Right now, we’re facing what feels like a reverse of that scenario.
In a few months, Klopp will be saying goodbye to the club he loves so much, and while everyone seems to be focused on what life will be like after Klopp, there’s one scary truth about Liverpool that no one is noticing.
So, you see, the squad Klopp inherited at Liverpool was so, so far from exciting. I mean, look at his first ever lineup as Liverpool boss:
Mignolet, Clyne, Skrtel, Sakho, Moreno, Lucas, Can, Milner, Lallana, Coutinho, Origi.
Just look at that! Little wonder Liverpool were always around 6th, 7th, and 8th on the Premier League table in the years before Klopp ,joined. The only exception was the 2013-14 season when Gerrard’s slip cost them the league and they finished second to Manchester City. That season aside, Liverpool were far from being a Champions League team at the time.

Liverpool fan here. Love Klopp & appreciate what he’s done, but the idea that we will be in the wilderness without him is frankly laughable. He is leaving his successor with a team in way better shape than he found it, as long as we properly recruit in the market & continue to use our business model of finding good talents using data we will be fine. Klopp has been great but our results have been worse once he got more control over recruitment & spending. People forget that it was him who sanctioned a 4 year contract extension for Henderson when he was well past it, whilst keeping players who weren’t good enough in the team for too long which hampered our results. In addition, although he has won us a PL & UCL, we could easily argue that if we were better in pressure moments and not dropped points with too much consistency, that we would have more silverware as 1 PL in 9 seasons isn’t good. He will be missed dearly, but I don’t think the drop off will be that drastic considering the quality of individuals we have in our team. In fact, I am excited to see our team play a different brand of football, as well as play different formations based on the opposition, as opposed to just playing a 4-3-3 every game.
Let's be honest it won't go well for a couple of seasons while adjusting.
Agree. Klopp is a phenomenal man manager, but horrible about replenishing between seasons and rotating between matches. He also lets personal loyalty get in the way of cold logic. That said, I can't think of any other manager who could have gotten the same results with the same resources. Gonna miss him to death.
Agree 100%, Klopp will be leaving the club in a great position to continue to challenge for titles for seasons to come. There's plenty of talent with long enough contracts and a great infrastructure to further their development. The basic premise of this video is that these players were only at Liverpool for Klopp and I think it completely ignores just what a massive institution Liverpool FC are. It's one of the biggest clubs in the world and the players are well aware of that. while I do think that Klopp's successor might struggle in the beginning, there's no reason to panic. the right players will stay.
@@YVR_Gooner We might not win a trophy for a few years but I cant see us falling out of top 4 or getting knocked out of the group stages
Was only made aware of Michael Edwards recently. With him back it's still one half of the power duo.
Who here after liverpool draw👇👇
Me
Here we are 😢
Come Man U
Fckkkkkkkk

Klopp is a icon
Fr😅
Nothing in life is forever. Change happens. Live with it.
The music in the background is unnecessarily loud and distracting.
I think Amorim comes in for Klopp. As for where they finish well I think they will have a slight drop off and either fall out the title fight earlier or not even be in it. I think the new manager will have an adjustment period of 1 maybe 2 season's getting back gradually.
In other words Liverpool continue to be as they have been for the last 30 years, always years away from challenging, never winning the league, just little periods where where win a cup and we have that illusion of improvement when it’s been a 30 plus year plateau almost
@@liveanadventure429 Maybe. But unfortunately I don't think it'll be that bad 😅
Everyone talks about Gerrard’s slip but it was the worst pass given by Sakho that lead to this infamous incident. It was a hospital pass of epic proportions!
That is the most stupidest thing I have read. Gerrard miscontrolled a simple pass
If Amorim comes in for Klopp next season, i won't except much from him as he will need some time to adjust to the intensity of PL given that he is coming from a lower tier league.
I expect a drop in form for Liverpool next season but if it doesn't get affected then kudos to the future manager , whoever it might be.
a player from your league pays for an entire squad from the Portuguese league, and even then you all need to kill each other to win, and you are often humiliated as was the case last year. In Portugal there is no oil money and it is clean football.
You should do the fall of napoli
Yeah
I never even thought about Klopp saying "I'm not fucking leaving" in wolf of wallstreet style, daaaaaaaaaamn
After discussing how much he has not spent. Can we please talk about how much he has made compared to other spenders. I think thats important too if we are talking of numbers. But to a football perspective alone I'm thrilled
people who came after the 2-2 draw
Don't remind me of that
@@AlexSanzu-gj2mk Liverpool fan ?
@@rubanamedhanie7961 yeah so disappointing
The video was posted after the game mate
When it is the only think Man U fans has to celebrate you know their footie life is in the gutter.
Those who love klopp ⚡⚡👇👇
Me
I am arsenal fan, but big respect for Klopp.
The music is a torture…. Can t understand a word of your text.. sorry
What text?
Please don't leave klopp😢
it's alright, we can build something big with new feets!
Why can't the assistant manager take over, sorry I'll spell this wrong. Pep Linjerds knows Liverpool as well as klopp does and all the players know him because he's very influential on training sessions in particular.
Who is here after the defeat
AI Klopp would be our best bet at this point
Van dijk isn’t leaving
Liverpool will go back to be punching bag like they always were and meant to be
Gerrard Liverpool rebuild in ea fc 24 finna go crazyy
Xabi to madrid that's why he stayed one more year
Not scary at all...we have got players waiting to play those positions already....YNWA
Who writes this shite nobody is leaving.
Liverpool played draw vs Man United
Music ruined the video
Liverpool should not be worried about the fact Klopp is leaving at the end of the season.....in fact as long as they keep their elite players Allison VvD,Alexis McCallaster,Trent-Arnold, and their young forward thinking midfielders ithink they should allow Sallah to take the Arab bags of cash.....as they will be able to get a price that no-one else will want to pay,as he is waaay overrated for a slow one legged 31/32yr old imho,LFC could actually (with a couple of good signings) do better next season imho !? ⚽️🏆

You do seem to discover many scary things about football teams for a CZcams channel

No one want him to leave
Everyone except for Liverpool fans want him to leave.
Literally EVERYONE is noticing that lmao, its what everyone is talking about
The beaten 💀
Amorim will succeed
Goal90 first man celebrate me🎉🎉🎉😂
Why is there a scary truth about many things?
to generate more engagement basically
Cuz it's catchy
Scare mongering at best.Of course we will miss Jurgen and i guess with Jurgen and some of his back up leaving this summer, then next season might be troublesome but we can certainly finish in the top 4 and win a trophy .Liverpool might sell Mo for £100m to the Saudis and obviously Matip Thiago and Adrian will all leave on Frees The new Manager will also have his own yhoughts and ideas on first team players he want to keep and who can play the systtem he wants to adopt, so i think most LFC fans expect to see a couple more departues of players on top of the 4 we have mentioed but i also think the New Manager will be bringing in at least 3 or 4 new players that he want and requires to teplace those goingIts not the breakup you seem to suggest , obviously some changes it happens when a Manager changes and Liverpool fans largely expect next season to be a little more disruptive than per normal The new Manager will be given time to implement his changes and play formation so whilst winning the league might be difficult i expect us to have a decent seasin that will build to a league title winning season in 2025 -26
Thank god for your subtitles as the background music is to loud and distracting. Your sensationalism over Klopp leaving is laughable and clickbait pure and simple
Just drew 2-2 to united… idk abt liverpool winning the PL anymore. still got a better chance than City or Arsenal
They will, they will survive every match they playing.
They will most likely win every other match now whilst Arsenal and City are still likely to drop points
@@MOONGREEDY true. i just dont want city or arsenal to win
😂
😭😭😭
Next season man u would be back !!!!!
Just kidding. Lol
Klopp shoulda left last year
Instead, hea destroyed the club
Lfc will not win another game this season
Klopp out!
Big plot twist ineos pull out another shocking surprise klopp to manunited
❤
It's okay #liverpool it's over this year, yee through it away again! I love you but it's a disgrace! #YNWA
Jose mourinho 😅
Bring Tuchel as his replacement. This job is no joke. Don't bring jokers from Portuguese League.

Exactly that's what I'm trying to say. Manager from such a poor ppls place can't survive EPL.
@@user-wm8bi1uc8p I would like to see Klopp at Sporting to see if he is really good. now spend millions and win a trophy from where to where it's normal. If this year I watch ships again I'll start to smell like dormund's floop

Portugal has never been a great football nation like Italy or Germany. Their league standard is like c grade. They should not be allowed to play ucl anymore.
We are noticing it beleive me... we we are preparing to Slot back into mediocrirty again.😂
Yellow
Funny video. Yes a new manager will come in and change a thing or two but the culture is there. The building blocks are there. So to say Liverpool are finished is a joke.
Who is here after Liverpool lost 3-0 to Atalanta in the Europa League😢
👇If you believe in the comeback💯

Suck error.
Still can’t get over Nunez signing, he’s mediocre. Only scores against bottom feeders.
True indeed
We got Edwards back and are after one of the most exciting young managers in the game. Pointless video
VVD better be leaving! The sooner the better!
