    The C&0 and the gap are on my bucket list. Love the bike patrol to help people out that’s such a good idea. Awesome video as always.

      @@towtowstrailtalk6853 Thank you! We definitely recommend the C&O! Yes, the bike patrol is a great idea! You hope to never need them but nice to know they are there.

    Another great video! One correction though... as of a year or two ago, the Park Service has stopped treating the well water at the hiker-biker campsites with iodine, so it is NON-POTABLE. If you want to drink it, you should bring your own filtration system or iodine tablets. Otherwise, get your water elsewhere. There should be signs on all the pumps now with this information.

    Loved the dancing bear...wow, was that a copperhead you came across?...great blue herons DO sound prehistoric!...never even thought about where the 0 mile marker would be, but yeah, that's in an out-of-the-way place. Congratulations on achieving your goal!

      @RideandShineBicycling  Před 18 dny

      Thank you! And yes it was a copperhead! You'll never know what you'll see on the C&O. In all the years we've been biking in the area, we never saw or knew there was a mile marker 0

    This is an incredible video. I’ve been on multiple parts of this trail in the different areas and recognize a lot of spots, I didn’t realize it was like a single road that went so far. now I want to do the entire thing. Guess I need to buy a bike first.

    Wow best video of bike trail ride My wife and I have seen yet. My wife and I are in our late 60s now semi retired and we Ebike. Our range is 40 plus miles petal assist. My big question is on this trail are thier places with hotels. We just don't camp anymore???

    • @RideandShineBicycling
      @RideandShineBicycling  Před měsícem

      Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. There are definitely hotels along the trail, so you'll have plenty of comfortable options to rest your legs after a day of biking! I am right there with you. I am not a camper. There are parts in the video that show choices of hotels, Inns, and B&Bs from Georgetown, Brunswick, Harpers Ferry, Shepherdstown, Little Orleans, Paw Paw, and Cumberland.
