Judging from how fast she's talking, it has more to do with her nerves than any lingering feelings over Charles.
Alli was always too intelligent for Charles, I called it from day 1. She was so much younger than him so they matched in their immaturity when she was younger, but she absolutely surpassed him in mental maturity and intelligence VERY quickly.

I never understood how people hated on Alli. She has such a good heart, she's funny and smart. Gotta love Alli!
Personally she always rubbed me wrong when she was dating Charles. I can't put my finger on it, but something about her bothered me and others. There was a sort of iciness we sensed from her. She was quite patronizing and had an "I'm smarter than everyone" vibe to her. We also didn't like the way she talked to Charles (her tone, little easily missed side comments, ect.) which led to a lot of us correctly predicting that they were hiding a lot of issues. People decided to blame her, because it was easier. Charles had more of a likable personality and us old school fans were there for Charles. Not for her. We were there before her.
Of course after the breakup it was even easier to be nasty toward her because "how can she leave a man with cancer?? What kind of cold, heartless woman is she??"
Obviously there was a lot more to the story and I'm sure Charles was not just some innocent victim. He probably holds a lot of the blame too. But I hope that helps explain why people were so eager to hate on her even if hating on her wasn't right.

faeriegeek but didn't he leave her though? I'm don't know I think it was really difficult to have to deal with that at such a young age. Yes obviously she wasn't the one who was sick but it must be so difficult having to halt your own life for your partner when these are the years when you should be experiencing life and being care free. It must have been difficult for her to have to be selfless all the time and prioritise him. Yes it was someone she loved but it's still hard to lose out on those years. It's weird because I looked at it as though Charles wasn't very great full to her because a lot of women would've left when shit got hard. I suppose we'll never truly know- he just rubs me the wrong way a bit because of how conveniently fast he moved on

I stopped watching CTFxC when they divorced. It definitely hurt a lot cause their vlogs were my go to when I was sad. To me they said "things will get better. You will find love and have this awesome adventure." But then they broke it off and it was sad but continued to watch Alli's vids and she still brings smiles. Just something about her is more likable than Charles (though he is a good dude still). And I am happy he found love but I just cant seem to swallow the fact hes already engaged to a girl with the same name as his previous wife. Its good hes happy but its just too weird for me.

I think it's because it's a new concept to youtube. CZcamsrs are like celebrities now and this was the first public divorce on youtube and it exposed the connection between viewers and the content creators and how to address major changes. People are just curious how it impacted them in regards to marketing themselves on youtube.
Katie Agreed. This was a big surprise as fans who have been watching them since it was just skits, then they started doing vlogs, which popularized the concept I believe. That’s how I found them, their skit channel, then followed them since they started vlogging. It was a big shock that this came, especially a year after their weeding and because they had to be public about it to not lie to their a viewers.

I felt so bad that she did so much for the vlogs and then kind of just got pushed out of them and had to figure out her life/what she wanted to do fulltime after the split. Like she said, that was always her job and she had little to say for the business aspect. Either way I'm glad she's figured herself out and keeps her channel updated she's always been one of my favourite female youtubers and to see her public divorce and alleged cheating scandal from Charles was crappy.

Its sort of unfair for VidCon to put a panel together of all these used-to-be relevant CZcamsrs. I mean, looking at just the metrics... all of the panelists shown in this video were in their prime 5-10 years ago. I wonder if that was a palpable feeling while sitting there.

In my opinion "new" Allie has a similar sort of personality to Alli and even looks similar to her. I barely notice to be honest. Charles definitely has a type.
One thing that I'm really curious is : Does Alli get the revenue from the videos she used to make for CTFxC even after their divorce with Charles ?

I never connected with Charles personally. I felt like the things he was doing in his life made him very unrelatable to regular viewers. I always thought they where incredibly cute together but there was definitely something missing I'm their relationship. Even though they were both pretty immature I definitely feel as thought Alli has been a better adult than Charles in many ways. In fact it's why I no longer watch CTFXC

I think it had to do with stress of Charles and his cancer and her having to stop everything to take care of him i know thats not the exact reason but i read somewhere someone made a really huge point and this being a potential main factor and i couldn't have agreed more. i feel like she was getting pinned down in one place as i feel she's the adventurous one in the relationship. i watched a few vlogs with her old boyfriend i think turned fiancé but they broke up after 4 years and she went out and traveled after the divorce at least thats what i saw. so maybe she just still needed that adventure.
Stop hating on Charles everyone, stop calling him dumb, stop blaming him for this. This was a result that was caused from both of them. They are both better off how they are now.

I feel that both of them didn't love each other as much anymore and found other people that fit with them better and realized they didn't fit anymore together and I think It hit Charles harder and he is angrier and didn't let go as easily and she just sort of said to herself this is what happened it was a part of my life but it's over now and I need to move on

We all get introduced to new hobbies/activities, without always knowing what the outcome will be. She clearly embraced the CZcams community over time, and in my opionion, is a great educator and entertainer. If she's not for you, then why bother mentioning her? Does her job/lifestyle effect your life that much? Cleary it does, since you're going as far as to say she should quit. I have a simpler solution. Don't follow her life, don't keep an eye out for her videos, and put more focus and energy into your own. But that's only my advice. You want to keep up your negative feelings, go for it man.

Her last drunk gaming video was 2 months ago. She also recently removed a home page banner photo of herself laying on her belly in a party dress with an open bottle of wine raised to her lips.
She drank like a fish when she was with Charles, even when he was on chemo and having seizures regularly, which means she would have been passed out when he had a seizure while sleeping, which was when they were happening. Alcohol was more important to her than her marriage.
I think it's more because that has been her most popular content and her subs ask for those videos (I know I did!) Either way, you can't tell if she has a drinking problem based on her youtube content? Doesn't make sense, honestly and alcoholism is a major thing to accuse someone of?
ipwncocacola It's hard to tell what you are asking me because you put question marks at the end of poorly formed sentences which are not questions, and I did not use the work "alcoholism" in my comment, but this is a serious matter that affects a lot of people and their families so I will make an effort to respond to you.
It was obvious that she drank until she was drunk often (several times a week at least) when she was vlogging daily with Charles, and I mean really drunk. She injured her arm once falling off her brother's shoulders at a "party" as one example. She talked about how much she loved to drink. I have some experience with this with close family members and I do believe someone who drank as much and as often as she did is an alcoholic. Calling it "youtube content" doesn't change that fact. Drinking until you pass out while your husband is undergoing chemotherapy for brain cancer and is having seizures at night when he might really need you is irresponsible behavior at the very least.

(Definitely though, from the CTFxC days vlogs it was clear to tell she was using alcohol to suppress whatever was happening in her life due to the way she used it and the amount she used. Personally, now I think she's a lot more stable with her drinking and that the OP (possibly) using her present day upload count of drunk gaming is not at all representation of what could possibly be going on in her life and that her viewers truly do enjoy that content and is a major reason why she's verbally said she makes those. (Yes, I call that her youtube content as those are videos she makes specifically to put up on her channel and has a rhyme and reason to do so. It's on youtube and makes up her content hence CZcams Content :) )
The story I heard about why they divorced is because Charles had the brain tumor and he had to change his lifestyle (couldn't drink as much anymore, had to be healthier and eat better, just take care of himself) and she likes to drink so she didn't want to change for him. When I use to watch their vlogs, they were ALWAYS drinking, so I believe this theory more than any cheating stories.
