Kauai - Waimea Canyon by Helicopter - June 6, 2024

This 9 minute video covers our doors-off helicopter flight over Waimea Canyon National Park in Kauai. I shot this on my cellphone, and the downdraft and wind from our passage was very strong, and buffeted the camera so I apologize for the added motion. But, I wouldn't have traded the open view for a door to block the wind. Jack Harter Helicopter Tours did a great job! Our guide, Nick, was very knowledgeable and detailed everything we were seeing as we flew around the island. Regrettably, my recording only shows you what we could see. It also smelled amazing, but you will have to take the flight yourself to experience that delight!
