Great Western Railway Trains at Burnham on September 7th 2019

1st time filming at Burnham on the Great Western Main Line which is served by services to Reading only and also worth noting this is my 250th video to film as well.
Burnham opened on July 1st 1899 as Burnham Beeches however was closed from April 2nd1917 to March 3rd 1919 for economic reasons during and after World War I.
The station was renamed Burnham (Bucks) on September 1st 1930 before becoming today’s name on May 5th 1975
It’s the only station between Paddington and Reading which can make vulnerable to closure during engineering works on the slow lines.
One train every 30 minutes provided by Great Western Railway Class 387s however on the day of filming Class 165 and 166 Turbos were running some services due to 12 sets of Class 387s being moved and overhauled in preparation of taking over from the Class 332s on Heathrow Express which is due to take place in December
Also TFL Rail will take over the Reading services around the same time with Class 345s with Class 387s providing services to Didcot Parkway as well as Newbury although Class 769s former Thameslink Class 319s are also being brought in to cover Paddington to Reading and Oxford as well as the north downs line from Reading to Gatwick Airport via Guildford and Redhill.

Have you ever been to Reading West and Reading station, is there much freight at both stations

I have been to Reading station back on March 23rd which I'm filming my Christmas Special for this year in December
However Reading West it's likely I won't be visiting that until probably next year
