Fowler did a great job last year per usual. Georgia won all four games that he called in which they played. Start of the season with Clemson, later on Arkansas, then Michigan in the playoffs and then Alabama in the national challenge! So many great calls
Got to say when I first heard Fowler I really wanted to stop watching Saturday Night Football but now he’s the real deal I definitely look forward to hear his voice for football.
Its sad, because when you think of great broadcasters, you dont really thing of him. But he is one of the best in the game atm.
Chris Fowler has a great voice and does a fantastic job. He knows his stuff and gets excited after big plays from each team. This was a great compilation of calls from last season, well done.
When I found out he would be replacing Brent Musburger on Saturday nights with Kirk, it was hard to imagine any other voice besides Brent on those games, but I must say that this was the right decision and he's right there with Gus Johnson as one of my favorite commentators.

They're by far the two best commentators, and I don't know which is my favourite because they are so different. As a combo, though, Chris and Herbie are definitely number 1.
Verne, Gus, and Fowler are three amazing ones I was/am glad to have grown up listening to.

My inspiration, one of the few who can do Gameday and Football Games AND tennis, he’s an exciting voice but he’s never annoying when he gets loud, you have to love Fowler, he has a way with words thaf feels dramatic and natural. I hope he gets in the NCAA games

I don't know that I've ever seen a sports announcer grow into a role as well as Fowler has. I always liked him a lot as the host of Gameday dating back to the 90s and thought he was perfect in that role. His first season as the announcer after replacing Brent was so-so, and I found myself missing Brent on a lot of those games, but damned if he hasn't become the best in the business ever since. His obvious love for the game shines through and he's smart without coming across as pompous. He's already one of the best college football announcers ever, up there with Brent, Keith Jackson, Uncle Verne, Brad Nessler, etc. and hopefully has many, many more years to give.
