I really love you're video and how you build it really satisfie
These bike are truly works of art now!
They better be for something that expensive 🤪
Lovely video; I just love how nothing is explained. It is just done.
Am sure people will like and dislike lots of different parts of it, but I could watch that video again and again.
The background music on the other hand....
Thanks Will. Welcome
Amazing piece of art 👌👌
Great build, you the Man.

Hey, thanks for posting and the quality edit. Just built my own Venge, and your video was a helpful guide for this DIY guy!
Glad it's helpful
that crank got me going :)
Haha thanks dude
Amazing 👏 my dream bike 😍
that background music makes me wanna go and hug and kiss the bike... then I remember the price tag :O
Hi I'm a subscriber from Philippines and i love the way you show us how to assembled a roadbike.
👌👌
No puede a ver algo más hermoso en la vida... es más q una obra de arte...!!!
That’s a genius location in the Seatpost for the junction box! Very impressed with that idea from Specialized
yeah I like it a lot, good spot, same as the tarmac sl7
Handlebar end is better unless you're a pro having a team mechanic working on it while you ride.
Why? Who touches it whilst they ride anyway? It’s only really for charging or for putting into Bluetooth mode once in a blue moon to tweak stuff or update firmware. I have bar end junctions on both of my bikes but I can see this is a genius idea and far neater and no negative
@@Strop311964 bar end junction box is more handy if you want to adjust it on the go, but not if you crash the bike it might get destroyed with the bars. my personal favorite is in the downtube
@@johnoakleymusic I know people switch between synchro modes during rides :)
Loved the build...so peaceful and gracious.
Now serious talk...HOW CAN I GET A DROP CYCLING ☕️???
Holla at cha boi!!!
Thx for sharing!!! 🤝
Hahaha thanks dude, next time I got some stock in I will put one aside for you sir👍👌🙏👊

Thanks Sir. Very Sweet Bike Build. Love the video Rey nice Bike . Peace

Even a brand new hacksaw to cut the steerer tube.......very impressive!
🤗👍
this video is relaxing
Thank you👍
Such a beauty......😇
Maaaate keep up the good work 👌 you tease 😍😜
thanks Jeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Wonderful video both an artist and a craftsman at work much applause to you sir! I got my S-Works SL7 a month ago and much in all as I'd love a set of Lightweight M's the budget of €13,000 was spent on the bike itself! I went DuraAce Di2 but swapped out BB and obviously went CS OSPW (I take it this build they were coated!) But one day I would love a set of the Lightweight Meilenstein Shwarz edition clincher wheelset can't go back to Tubes as my Campagnolo Bora Ultra Two's broke my heart with punchers! But wow wonderful build!
Hi Joe, thanks for the comment. What a wondering bike you haven sir. One bike rules them allllll!!
@@thedropcycling cheers! anytime you are in Ireland we'll take you out the only thing you'll need to do is pretend the weather is like Australia because 99% of the time it's like Melbourne in winter! 😂 Really enjoy the content pure quality!
Anytime you are in Melbourne send me a message mate. Only thing is Melbourne summer is ☀️🌞☀️🌞☀️🌞🌞☀️🌞☀️
@@thedropcycling 😂😂😂 try cycling in South West Portugal in August it would melt the rubber on them fancy Meilenstein's! I lived in South Croydon for a few years and traveled inland to Alice but yea Aus is one hot place but great for getting out on the bike! Maybe when all this madness is done I'll head down!
@@joelyons886 haha that's awesome mate. One day hey
8'14", looks like the flanged connecting bolt being over tighten a bit which could potentially damage the olive. Usually 5-6N.m of force will leave an approx. 1mm gap between the flanged connecting bolt and the thing next to it. Fun to watch!
Thanks Ning👍👌👊🙏
@@thedropcycling Use an 8mm Crowfoot wrench attached to your torque wrench for the hydraulic hose and a 7mm Crowfoot for the bleed nipple. That way you can torque exactly to spec.
@@Strop311964 oh mate, thanks very much for the tip!!
Outstanding!!!!! It would be nice sitting beside my System Six team replica! Indeed a beautiful bike(except for the crank).
😄👍
Beautiful
When tightening the stem you need to make sure there is no gap at the bottom so start there. Then move in a criss-cross diagonal pattern tightening each bolt to progressively higher torque until you reach spec. Should also be using a torque wrench for the fluid cover bolt (.6NM), it looked like it only tightened one click and when I tightened mine to spec it went two. Same for the hydraulic hose and bleed nipple, you need Crowfoot wrenches to adapt from your 1/4" drive torque wrench to the 7mm and 8mm nuts so you can torque to Shimano's spec.
Also be careful putting the Di2 cable behind the front derailleur. I found on my build that it was preventing me aligning the cage properly with the chainrings. After I ran it over the top the alignment went fine.
I learnt it from the hard way by stripped the thread of top hydro top cover, surely they can use a 2.5mm instead of a 2mm. and the di2 cable behind the FD you are also right about that. anyway great advice mate thanks heaps.
My dream bike❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The way he plays tht piano is amazing, bikes and hes a peeanist lol. Awesome video!!

Hey Jack about $20k AUD
Great job. What torque do you tighten the headset feed screw 6:14 min? I always have a problem with that. Regards

Lovely, I prefer my Columbus Max frame set with full Mavic SSC group set from 1988.
thats my dream bike too
Great build 👌
You need to wrap that shit starting at the top bro
you missed the point, this bike is expensive, nothing else matters!
👍
The bar tape would be so much better if it was reversed wrapped, starting at the top.
Thank you for posting this. I just purchased a Venge frame and will be building it up with di2. From the video it appeared that you wrapped the internal junction box and pushed it into the seat tube? Is this correct? Does it hold well in that location, or have you found that it slips downward onto the crank spindle?
Thanks again for posting. Great video.
Thanks dino, nope no sliping. that's how you do it😆
@@thedropcycling fabulous. Thanks for the reply.
nice
Great vid. Love that colour, does it have a name??
Your build is epic. I love every detail of your work. Btw, how much torque did you set for tightening the seat post clamp over the carbon rail of the saddle?
13 Nm is OK.

My dream bike☺️
yesssss
wow❤️
🤗😊
I wish you were in Italy to let my bike be assembled by you..
Haha
Nice video...
wich kind of lightweight wheels?
Nice
Thanks
While I adore my sworks tarmac sl7, the venge is absolutely spectacular
and my dream come true...
Congrats
Certainly the most bling build i have ever seen. But does it make sense ?
LW Wheels are kind of outdated and not very aero. I ride Enve 5,6 on my Venge, together with Chris King Hubs.
A part wheel choice the bike is stunningly beautiful and very well put together. I like the red colour.
Agree, the owner wants build a bike functional but lightest possible. I guess that's why lightweight is why the choice is made
Totally agree with you. Rolled my eyes when I saw it. If you already go for an aero bike, use wheels that are aero. If weight is the goal, he should have taken a Tarmac. But at the end of the day we are all amateurs and it matters more if you love your bike 😂
@@Freddy3792 well said Freddy 👍
Like that very bicycle in East Africa it can reach here like 5 years later but if get Conected to a pro-team who replaces bicycles annually or every after two years we can also have our cyclists here get a chance to have upgrades every one or two years
When cutting the steerer tube, where do you cut on that line you marked?
Beautiful bikes, but those bottle cages in white??
I thought the venge was only available in white and the rust-brown like colors?
I wish i could have one of those
Hi Clark, we all would😄
Can i have one just for free? Hahahahahahaa
👏👏👏
thanks Lorenzo!
Excellent bike 🚴 brother, how much is the cost of the unit? Many thanks 😊
Stunning build and spec but that Q factor seems odd with all those spacers involved. That normal??
Very therapeutic to watch with the gorgeous piano backing music too
thanks John, the SRM crank spindle is quite long compares to Venge frame so the spacers are needed.
Shame as it does look wrong even though I know it’s right. Only negative on that particular build spec (apart from the bottle cages colour chosen by Stevie Wonder!, should’ve been black for definite)
@@johnoakleymusic oh come on ;)
