Hi, I’m Japanese. I have had the same experience at a convenience store 🫠 Some convenience store items are supposed to be heated at home. The microwave in the convenience store is 1500w, while the microwave at home is 500-800w. The sukiyaki was a product that could not withstand the microwave in the convenience store, so the clerk may have refused it. Sorry for the behavior 😢

Didn’t the other family mart guy heat it up for them tho? The lady just seems to have a bad attitude, like rolling her eyes and slamming the microwave door and stuff. What I’ve experienced in Korea and Japan to my surprise, is that some of the employees are just straight up rude to customers. Like maybe the concept of customer service doesn’t exist as much as in the US, idk

I mean that’s precisely what this is all about. in the US, customer service can’t be treating foreigners like sh!t., It will go in the news for discrimination., but highkey Korean customer service is pretty trash even to Koreans sometimes.
I have mad respect for these girls, they share a straw or take a bite out of eachothers food without complaining who bit it. Me and my sister always say 'Ew, I don't want your germs' or 'Ew, your nasty germy lips are all over the straw/food.' Mad respect I have for you guys.

0:30 I can help! I’m also learning Japanese and am still a beginner but this might help clarify. “おはようございます” (ohayougozaimasu) is a formal way of saying “Good morning”. When you say “おはよう” (ohayou) by itself, it also means “Good morning” but it’s informal. And in one of the previous videos, you guys asked what does “です” (desu) mean. It simply means “to be”. So, when Evelyn said “おはようです” (ohayoudesu) She might’ve said “It’s morning”. Hope this helps!💗
